I have a Canon Powershot A540. I've lost the manual and I don't know how to put the self-timer on.

On page 37 of the basic manual, available as a download from the canon website, it says that if you click on the function menu button. That is the button on the back of your camera in the circle. It is between the lightning bolt and the flower. If you press that you will see at the bottom of your screen the option to change you self timer to 2 seconds, 10 seconds or C = a customized time you can set yourself.

Self timer


keep the camera in shooting mode.
now press menu
now press right side botton.
u can see driver mode.
third option will be timer option.

for more information refer your manual in page number 38. it will explain you with pictures.
