I have an Indesit model IWD5123. I have been getting an error message F01 and the machine has locked shut with a load of washing inside. I have tried turning the machine off at the wall but whatever I do, the door won't open. I have placed a call for an engineer to visit, but they can't get here until Monday. How can I get my washing out before then??

maytag washer with error code F01 means a obstruction in a hose or tube, not a control panel issue like people say. How can I clear the small tube? see pics
It is probably not turning enough to allow it to be removed- maybe because there is crud jamming it. try rotating it back and forth to attempt to free it. You could use gas pliers to add more force to turn it, but be careful not to break it.
For most models of Indesit (Hotpoint, Ariston) 'F01' states 'motor triac short circuit- check motor and module connections'. Sorry but it looks like a service call ;-0(

F01 means the machine thinks that you have pressed start and the door is still open, so, either the door is not completely shut or you will need a new door interlock (part number 182154) you can get the part by calling 0844 892 8979 (UK) or http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/customer-service/spare-parts-accessories.html. Or the connection to the door lock is not loose or detached.Hope this helps
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
For most Indesit (Hotpoint and Ariston) models 'F01' often refers to the 'motor triac- check connections' but for a number of faults apparently poor PCB connections are often the cause so try this/these first. If you are not electrically confident and competent yourself, which you appear to be, you need to employ the skills of a partner, friend or service engineer ;-0)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.

F01 is indicating a short circuit motor triac, this is part of the control that controls the main motor. You have no option but to call Hotpoint (indesit) and book an engineer as it is something you can't do youself..Sorry , but that is your course of action.only
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks
