We have replaced the magenta imaging unit and no magenta is coming through can you help

    This has been done. Also the user life doesnt show a new imaging unit

Dave,, please do make sure that the protective tape of the cartridge is completely removed then try printing color pictures to somehow warm up the cartridge, if it still does not display anything, or print any color close to magenta, better take it back to the reseller to have it checked, tested and replaced if needed.

Ensure you removed the cellotape from the cartridge. pull out and put back cartridge.

    This can also be normal on first print try printing a couple of color documents, if the cartridge does not work after all this it can be a faulty cartridge even if new, in this case ask a replacement.

sounds like the wrong image unit. Oce and ollivetti have the same machine and take the same image unit but with a different chip. Make sure it is a genuine konica minolta image unit. If need be try putting the chip from the old unit on the new one and see if lays down the colour

The C531 uses 4 toner cartridges and 4 corresponding imaging units. Each imaging unit has a waste compartment for the residue toner not transferred to the Image Transfer Belt (the waste bottle is for waste from this ITB). The residue toner could be reused.

It does not sound right that after 3-4K pages you have to change the IU. Just to be sure the IU you replaced looks like this?

Each IU should last about 50K pages (ie to be replaced after 5 toner cartridges).

I have a Konica C250 machine which cannot print red color at all. I had changed the toner and image unit but still cannot print red color. How can I solve this problem?


Recommended that you have a tech come out and look at it might have a bad LED assy. for the Magenta Image unit. All other color print OK? Can you print gradation test pattern for each color in service mode? Meter count, details, stop 00 stop 01 Test Output Gradation pattern select magenta. If you open the side cover after printing a document with the color magenta try to catch a print of paper do you see the color magenta on the transfer belt if yes the drum is ok could be the transfer belt magenta 1st transfer roller on the belt replace the belt assy.

Background of the complete surface of the white sheet exits with a pale Magenta coverage, also the Xerox testpage.


It's the magenta drum that's causing the problem so you'll have to replace the imaging unit.But first try removing the imaging unit and cleaning the laser windows and the metal contacts.

It is leaving heavy blue streaks on everything printed


Hey, blue streaks could be a few different things. The first thing I would check is the image unit. Try swapping out the cyan(blue) image unit with another color, such as magenta. If the streaks change from cyan(blue) to magenta in color then you know the image unit is bad and must be replaced (part # 108R00581). If it is not the image unit then it most likely is the developer. The developer takes about 40 minutes to install and really should be done by a service technician.
Here is a video that shows you how to remove the image unit and where you can purchase one.. Just go to 57 seconds in the video. Hope this helps, good luck!

Sir, i am using Konica Minolta C252. I am getting error message C-2553. If i opened the front door and closed then the error message will go, but again it will come after some copies. What is the problem...


Magenta Image unit mite be the problem have it replaced if it already was then mite have a bad new one also check the sensor that monitors the toner for the magenta Also pull out the magenta image unit shake side to side to spread out the develop inside the image unit along the entire length of the image unit reseat the image unit.

What is error code 941 on a Xerox Phaser 7400?


www.support.xerox.com -phaser 7400- support -fault code-941 says cyan or magenta toner failure, but the solution says to
1. remove & reinsert the cyan or magenta imaging units.
2. replace imaging units .

Magenta (yellow) unit is PAST end of life... (I have changed cartridges I still have this message. I tried to read instruction, and I got following message: Install P/N 108R00649 following the instalation)

You have replaced the toner cartridge but you still have to replace the imaging unit which is the drom that the toner cartridge attaches to.
Toner Cartridge OK, Low, Empty When 15,000
(high-capacity cartridge) or
7,500 (standard-capacity
cartridge) pages are
printed (5% print density).
Imaging Units At/Near end-of-life When 30,000 pages are
printed out or when the
pixel counts are
exceeded.
A fuse in the new
imaging unit will blow
upon installation,
resetting the counter.
Verify color calibration. Clean lenses.
