Question about Nokia N95 Cellular Phone

N95 made by nokia cell phone's imei has been changed

I have a nokia n95 made by nokia, that means made in Hong Kong, china, right?

seems that my imei was changed and my os too because it uses the same interface as the cect p168 (chinese too) which is really odd.

my guess is that it's also making my n95 not work properly, like for example, my cam is working as a 3M cam, i dont have the nokia option when i connect my n95 to my pc...

help please, i would like to know if my n95 is a clone, if i can put the original firmware/os again and if so how can i do that exactly?

My china mobile's imei no is 358863009180034. it is valid or not ?

The IMEI number is unique the each mobile phone.
The number is printed on the label under the battery.
You can also get the IMEI number by entering this on your phone
*#06# It will then display your IMEI number and you may also get a unique global serial number. Your IMEI number should be 15 digits.

Application installer for China nokia n95 8gb mobile phone

Your Nokia N95 8GB might be a fake.
to find this out Remove the back cover and check the battery.
If there are misspelled words or the Battery Number is not BL-6F that is the first clue.
Then Remove the Battery and look for the product sticker.
Look for the following Words
N95-2  Product Code  IMEI  Made in Finland  and look for a barcode.
gsmarena_039.jpg

Refer to the above link to see how a N95's IMEI Sticker Should look like.
If it does not look like that ..... your phone is fake and that is why PC suite will not install the Applications
