Question about Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer
I have a maytag neptune-dont have model number in front of me, but I think the dryer is around 3-4 yrs old. It has a 3 prong cord on it, and my new place has a 4 prong receptacle. I already wired it the way my electrician told me, and I have now blown the circuit board, and have to buy a new one. What is the correct way to wire the new cord on. Thanks
Red and black wires go to outside screws ..white goes to middle screw..lift green ground wire from screw in cabinet back and either tape off or connect to middle screw on connector ..green wire on cord goes in it's place
