Issue with the light ballast trying to light your lamp and it can't. Either a bad lamp (90%) - could be cracked or imploded or a bad lamp starter (10%).

What could be the problem with LCD tv?


There is still a power leak and intermittent short on the circuit board. You did not get the entire board fixed. Check all diodes for polarity and openings. Test resistance values and look for any other unstable components.

My tv toshiba 51'' rear projection wont come on, no sound or image but i hear a click when turn on and off.


most common reason is convergence problem--unsolder both chips and see if set will power up with them out of the circuit.

Ur tv the projection lamp,inside the tv now,been on an in used about 4 or 5 hours a day,the bulb been inside tv about 1 1/2 or 2 years?The projection lamp life is over,reqiure changing?Turn tv on hear alot of clicking too?The board call the Ballast board also require changing too,this Ballast board help to ignite the projection lamp.

If you hear a clicking noise that sounds like the ballast trying to power on the lamp, but nothing happens, the lamp may be faulty.

The green button will flash so its got power but tv wont turn on


your lamp has gone bad your going to have to buy a new lamp for it

Still sounds like the flyback. Rca has had issues throught the years with flybacks failing especially that model.
