There may be a problem with the print driver. Try deleting the printer from your computer and then re-adding it. Print driver can be downloaded at www.hp.com. in case you have lost your installation CD. Good luck !

How do i get my printer from offline mode back to online mode

  • Make sure that the printer is powered on.

  • Pull up 'My Computer' then click on 'Control Panel'. From the Control Panel, click on 'Printers and Faxes'. You will then see a list of Printers connected to the PC.

  • Delete pending print jobs to make sure that the correct document will be printed later and for you not to waste paper. Double click on the printer that you want to use, and a window will appear showing you a list of pending print jobs. Simply click on 'Cancel All Documents' from the 'Printer Menu'.

  • After you have deleted all pending print jobs, right click again on the printer icon and choose 'Use Printer Online'.

  • Try printing a test file, if it doesn't work the first time, reboot the PC.

"pending for administrator" how can

- Go to control panel
- under printers, look and see if the printer name shows up twice (or more).
- If so, it will have numbers after each one. Delete all the versions of the same printer
- If one says it has print job pending, right click and "cancel all documents"
- When you restart, the printer driver will re-install correctly

This usually happens when you unplug the printer cable and then plug it into a different USB port

Hi

Maybe the print spooler service had stop. Try to stop and restart it again. Try this solution.

Go to START MENU
Choose Commamd prompt, right click mouse and run as administrator (You should be in this command C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32- If not type this command when you in the dos command prompt "CHDIR C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEMS32\ and press enter")
Type the letter "cmd"
Type the word "net stop spooler"
Exit
Go to C: drive
Choose to Windows Folder
Click show content
Choose system32 folder
Choose spool folder
Choose printer
And delete all printing jobs pending
Again go back to CMD window and type the word "net start spooler"
Restart your computer and must also turn off your printer and then switch it on.

If still not printer, try to set up or add once more the printer.

Please rate and make a comment if you find this solution very helpful and might help others as well. Post more comments if you need more help.

Dear sir , when we switched on printer it showing printing 1 page continewesly

This is happening because you still have one pending job.
Go to Start then Printers and Faxes, locate the icon of the printer you are using and double click on it.
A windows will come up.
Select whatever pending job is listed, and Click on the Printer Menu at the top, and select Cancel All documents.
Once this is clear up, your printer won't bother again.

Don't forget to rate this answer if it helps.

I have a Netgear PS121v2 USB printer server connected to my rounter and a Samsung Laser Printer ML-1250. For some reason I cannot print anything because the printer status indicates the printer is paused....

Try purging the pending print jobs then try to print again. Go to Printer and Faxes on XP, then right click on your printer icon then select purge print jobs. Or double-click on the printer icon on your system tray (lower right hand of the screen) then click on the pending print jobs then purge it. Then try to print again.

Will not print

Try unplugging the USB cable from the back of the computer, not from the back off the printer. Also, try deleting the printer from/at the printer/fax page and restarting your computer so it will reinstall. In either case, when checking the printer/fax folder, make sure there is nothing pending printing. If there is, click on delete all pending printing jobs. If there is a print job pending and you can not cancell/delete this job, then you must delete the printer icon and restart your computer. Aloha!

HP psc 1210 will not print

Hi,

Please check the printer status at control panel printer properties if it is offline or ready. Restart your computer if necessary, you will notice all pending jobs will be printed as long as there is no problem with the connections of cables and drivers. Note: Do not cancel printing jobs in the middle of sending data mode to printer or queing instead you have to remove all papers on tray and wait for the error "paper out or empty" then there click Cancel. Hopes this helps.
