You should download a disk cleaner program to clear out drive space. I recommend ccleaner it is quick and easy to use.

here is a direct link to it: www.ninite.com/ccleaner/

just click save and run and it will install it for you automatically.

yes it is.. if you receive an error stating that there is not enough space then you need to clear some files out of windows... clearing your recycle bin or my documents any files that you don't need.. ccleaner is a tool that helps clear unnecessary files.

Why dell inspiron doesn't print single quote/double quote chracter ?

Hi Cani
Assuming that the Keyboard keys are all functioning, I would try changing the current Font to something else to see if this changes the fault. You could also try re starting (Reboot) your machine in Safe mode, to see if the fault disappears....

Cannot connect to networked computer: Error - "not enough storage space to process this command"

Okay, first a bit of "techie" information. When you print you send a file to the "print spooler" on the system handling the printing. In your case, that is Workstation 2. That file can be quite large and if there are several sent at once it can take up a lot of room. Once the system finishes printing it then clears out that space on the hard drive. Second, because you also use that for a file storage it may be that a lot of files are stored on that system either permanently or temporarily. So....the answer is that you are probably temporarily running out of disk space.

The reason you IRPStackSize increase worked is that you set aside more space for that stack so the system could hand incoming data more easily ...which meant it could sometimes delay a disk write enough to avoid a printing error.

The solution is to either increase the hard drive capacity of the system or to move the printing or customer files to another system on the network.

Of course, I could be wrong about this....;>) but it's the first thing that occurred to me.

A free legal Windows image can be downloaded. Check the MS Product Key sticker for what version your system came with. You may have to use your key. IT MUST BE THE SAME VERSION.

Download correct version and burn onto DVD to use. In your case, you need a Virtual CD-ROM player like Magic ISO to make USB installer.

Not quick or even fast, but true.

I just upgrade to Win 7. Now everytime when powering up the machine, there are two boot options like this: Previous Windows Operation System Windows 7 (with Windows 7 highlighted) Of course I...

Hi,

If I understand you correctly you had a previous operating system installed on one hard drive and you just now installed Windows 7 but on a separate drive? When you boot the machine if gives you two boot options, the old OS and the NEW OS?

What your going to have to do is format the drive(erase) that contains the old operating system. Format as NTFS.

Try unplugging the old drive, making sure the new drive is set to master and not slave. Boot up the computer.
When you boot up your computer you should immediately get options. One of these options should say "press delete for bios" or press "f6 for settings" You need to go into the bios and make sure the drive with Windows 7 is set to your primary drive in the boot order(hard drive should be first in boot list). We want the computer to boot to the new drive first.

Once you get into Windows you can use a program like partition magic to format the old drive to use as just storage space. You can even use "diskpart' which is an old windows command line utility.

If you reinsert the Windows Disk when you are booting up you will get some recovery options, and if I recall correctly one of these should let you format hard drive space. So, you may be able to do it from there.

Where exactly does the error come up in the boot process? Are you able to boot into safe mode? It may be easier for you to just reinstall Windows 7. If you boot the computer with the disk in the drive, and the BIOS set to boot first to the disk, then during the installation configuration you should be able to have Windows just format the old drive to use as space and install the MBR on the new drive.

So was this the issue then? You can run the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor to see if there are any compatibility issues that you may be having with hardware or software that would prevent an upgrade to Windows Vista.

I hope this helps.
