Usually picassa pictures are taken from the original place you stored them , Picassa does not modify their location
HAve you looked in your picture folder in my documents ?
That is correct. The date setup only affects pictures when they are taken; it will not alter pictures that have already been taken.
If you want to remove the date from a picture that already has it, you have to remove it the same way you would remove any other unwanted object from the picture.
If you haven't taken any more pictures on the card, there is some expensive software that can retrieve your pics. Just Google "memory card picture retrieval".
For already taken photos, you would need photo editing software to remove the date/time stamp. With such software you could either crop the photo to remove it, or apply more labor intensive technques such as cloning to cover it. One good, free, and easy to use photo editing software is Irfanview (www.irfanview.com). With this software you should be able to crop already taken photos to remove the stamp.
Once the stamp is on the picture it's just like any other element of the picture. You can try to remove it using a photo editing program, the same way you might remove a telephone pole growing out of someone's head, for example. There is no magic feature that will automatically recognize the pixels making up the stamp and recover what was there originally when the picture was taken.
Turning the date stamp off will only work for future pictures you take...The only way to remove the date on the pictures you have already taken is to do a crop or photshop the area...
If you remove memory card your camera will show the pictures held in
his internal 27 megs memory, as if it was memory card. Same if you
connect to computer with no memory card inside.
This is all.
To review the picture just taken - seconds; to retrieve from the disk you have to finalize the disk which takes about a minute for a full disk, seconds for a partially filled disk. Then you just put it in your CD-drive and you can view them immediately. If you have Roxio with a CD-RW you may not have to finalize the disk first, and you always have the option to transfer pictures via the USB cable (same as with other digicams).
