Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
Have a Dell D600 laptop which i a got from a friend. There is No power,no lights coming on and this is with a fully charged battery and also with a working Dell power adapter. Please assist.
If you've tested the power supply and battery, then the only thing left is a motherboard component. The problem will either be with the DC jack or the power management system. First check to see if the jack is loose or noticeably broken. If not, then it's going to be the power management chip. The pm chip controls and regulates the power input, switching from AC to battery, and the charging. With the pm chip, the motherboard will need to be replaced.
