If your dishwasher leaks, check these:Main tub seal
Door gasket or seal
Water-inlet valve
Hoses

Main tub seal
Note… If the main motor of your dishwasher is mounted vertically, beneath the center bottom of the dishwasher, the following instructions probably apply to you. But if your motor is mounted horizontally, the pump isn't serviceable--you need to replace the entire pump and motor assembly.

The main tub seal is beneath the drain impeller. It prevents the water in the dishwasher from leaking out near the shaft of the motor. To get to the seal, which is inside the dishwasher, remove the:

1. Lower rack
2. Spray arm
3. Spray arm support
4. Wash/drain impellers

Then pry the seal out of its housing and replace it.

Door gasket or seal
Over time, door gaskets and seals harden and lose their ability to seal properly. You can't repair the seals. You need to replace them if they've begun to leak.

Water-inlet valve
The water-inlet valve, itself, seldom leaks. But, the water-supply line from the house and the rubber tube leading from the valve to the inside of the dishwasher may leak. Tighten or repair/replace these as necessary.

The water-inlet valve could mechanically stick open. When that happens, the water continues to flow into the dishwasher, which then floods your kitchen. Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher, and replace the valve.

Hoses
Behind the lower access panel on your dishwasher are several rubber or plastic hoses. If the leak appears at a connection, try a new clamp. If that doesn't work, replace the hose.

Water on the floor

Possible that there is leak on the gasket or the drain hose/pump. It is important to take a visual check of the bottom area to confirm the case. If the water seems to seep from the from the front door then the gasket must be checked , please click this link:

Leaks onto the floor

With or without a load in the dishwasher, start the wash cycle and watch the whole thing. Inspect around the door to see if water is seeping through the seal. If no water is leaking around the door, then there may be a cracked hose line somewhere else.

MOISTURE AND HEAT ESCAPE FROM DOOR SIDES CAUSING PROBLEMS WITH ADJOINING CABINET DOORS. WHAT IS CAUSING THE CONDENSATION / MOISYURE LEAK?

Unfortunately, dishwasher generate a lot of heat and water vapor. Some manufactures are now including a pressure sensitive mylar / aluminum strip to be attached above the door under the counter to prevent water vapor and or heat damage to wood or composition wood counter tops. However if water vapor is seeping out from the side of the door and causing damage to the adjacent cabinets woodwaork, the dishwasher door gasket may be faulty. Since this might be the problem, it would appear that your dishwasher is used a lot or getting old. New gasket is about $20. If the door closes and there appears to be a lot of play in the closed door, the latch may be in need of adjusting if possible. That is, even thought closed and operational, the seal is not tight and the dishwasher is running without having a tight seal on the sides. If you have a stone counter top, any water vapor / heat escaping from the top would not be apparent since stone is not damaged by the heat or water vapor, but the adjacent wood cabinets are.

Water seeping out of dishwasher from bottom of dishwasher when washer is on. Washes and completes cycle ok, checked hoses and drains already for blockages but none

I assume you are seeing water coming out of the bottom of the door. If this is where it is coming from and the unit is draining okay then your door seal is bad.

If the leak is actually on the bottom of the dishwasher, then you have a crack or seal breach in the cabinet. It is important to find out exactly where the water is leaking from to determine where the problem is located in this circumstance.

If this helps you, please select YES to one of the first two ratings questions. Thank you, and Good Luck.

Water keeps coming back into dishwasher after cycle is done

Hi, If the drain hose is attached under the sink, make sure that the drain hose is looped higher then the outlet it is attached to.
Most model will hold a small amount of water after draining to keep the seals moist.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks

QuietPower 3, water seeps into unit, fills the base once per week.

I need more info but I would check the drain connection under the sink to make sure that it goes up after leaving drain , to keep the sink from draining into the dishwasher.

Leaking from the bottom a lot, immediately when I start the cycle

I found this post on another website. Hope it helps:

"Six torx screws securing the fine mesh filter just below the lower spray arm. Make sure they're all tight. Bit size is T 20 also, check for damage to the mesh screen. What happens when those screws are loose is water pressure seeps under and creates a tidal wave sort of effect by spraying water forward instead of thru spray arm...long shot, but I've seen it 50 times."
