Most of lines vertical or horizontal are defects in the screen that can't be repair unless you change the lcd screen, which is very expensive, in my experience this lines wont disaperar by any mean that I know, this monitors (all lcd) have a very delicated circuitry that can fail in a joint between the lcd panel and the circuit board (solid board conected by a flexible circuit ribbon to the lcd) unless you have warranty, I think you will got to live with this defect, or change that monitor. hope it help.
note: some hot air in the joints will help but if you dont got experience on this tool could be worst (not recomended).

Vertical line down screen

This problem can be caused by a lose connection between LCD and motherboard, however you can check it by opening the LCD or hinge bezel to ensure if there isn't any lose connection.

Thin vertical yellow line and a white vertical line appeared on ibm thinkcenter r52

What is happening to your laptop is the power line connecting a row of pixels is failing so only partial colors are showing up causing the vertical lines. Usually screen replacement is the only answer to fix it. You can usually find replacement LCD on Ebay.

A yellow vertical line is appearing on the left side of my compaque 610 screen... how i can i remove it?

  1. Run the laptop only on battery, if there is no line then check & replace your Power plug & Power adapter.
  2. Connect an external monitor, check if display is coming OK.
  3. If Display is coming then your LCD is faulty & need to replace.

I have vertical lines (15 of them now) on my Toshiba laptop.

I'm afraid when you see vertical line on an lcd panel, it most likely is screen failure. Ebay has plenty of screen from good companies in Texas. I get most of my screens from Ebay store LCDTECH99. They have the best prices, most screens are under 100 bucks and they ship right away. The Toshiba screen is an easy repair, Only the bezel needs to be removed in most cases. Below is a guide to show the process.

2 vertical line in laptop screen coming

Only way you are going to be able to remove this is by replacing the LCD. It is not a huge job, and not extremely expensive if you can do it yourself.

Here is a link to the maint and service guide that should show you removal and replacement of parts.

1 vertical line going down the notebook LCD

Some of the many connections to the TFT screen panel matrix itself have have either been damaged or have decayed. These tiny connections are bonded along the edges of panel and are not viably serviceable. The most common causes are impact, stress (twisting) and condensation/moisture ingress. A replacement screen panel is needed.

It is due to immense use of your laptop. So dont worry, off it for some time and on it again. It will not come. It is the same problem i m facing with my laptop. All the best.
