Question about Cell Phones
I had the same problem. I could hear the keys click, but no ringtones. When I went into the tune selection I couldn't get any sound when I selected different tunes. Since the keys beeped I thought that the speaker must be ok; it wasn't. I took the phone apart using pliers (I didn't have a T6 screwdriver). There are other sites that tell you how to do this. Above the keypad in the back is a little black foam square with two tiny (1mm diameter) springs that stick out to make contact with gold pads on the circuit board. At least that is how it is supposed to work. One of the springs on my phone was compressed into the black pad. I used a pin to stretch it out of the hole so it stuck out like the other spring. I had to put it all back together with the 6 screws tightened in order to make good contact. The sim card kept slipping out when I tried just pressing it together. Anyway, after getting it all back together and going to the tune menu, I scrolled to a different tune and now had sound! YMMV but give it a shot if you are technically inclined.
