SIM Cards are from cellphones. SD Cards are from cameras. Some laptops have the ability to accept SD Cards from cameras to download pictures. Normally you just push it in until it stops, and the computer recognizes it. When you want to take it out you just push it again and it pops out. I don't think you want to push a Sim Card from a cell phone in it.
You could try to remove your sim card.
Install battery and turn on phone without sim card.
Use phone without sim card and do some operations.
This will check if you phone is working correctly.
Turn phone off and install sim card.
Made sure sim card is install correctly.
If this does not work, it could be the sim card is bad.
If the display says "Insert SIM," it means that the phone has no
contact with your subscription card (SIM card) that is inserted in the
phone. We recommend that you remove the battery and the SIM card, and
clean the connectors on the SIM card and the phone with a soft brush,
cloth or Q-tip moistened with any type of unflavored colorless alcohol.
At the same time, check that the card is not damaged or worn in
any way, in that case, the connector may not align with the connector
in the phone. Please contact your operator / carrier for a new SIM
Hi there, you may try to reset the whole software on your cellphone. Provided to back up all the necessary contacts, messages on your Cellphone. There is a need to update the software version of your cellphone to make it working again.
sometimes it is as simple as cleaning the sim card and sim points on the phone with a pencil eraser. sometimes it is related to a simcard IC (usually placed close to the sim tray in the phone) so if u do not succeed cleaning the sim and sim points of the phone u need to change the simcard IC
The sim card holder has a tiny slide mechanism. After inserting the sim card and pressing it against the body of the phone, place your finger over the card and slide it gently forward. The tiny plastic part that holds the card will snap it into place. Hard to explain, but it will work.
