It looks like this computer only supports IDE hard drives.
The larget drives are all SATA hard drives. You can get a host card like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816102065 which will give you some SATA ports. Make sure you have a free PCI slot.
There's a limitation with current operating systems that won't let you have a boot drive be larger than 2.2TB. I wouldn't recommend getting a drive larger than 2TB for that reason.
Good luck.

Hi can you upgrade a acer aspire one with a bigger hard drive

Glad to HELP YOU!

When you will go search for a new BIGGER HARD DRIVE for your machine check to have THE SAME PARAMETERS as the previous one:
* to be a SLIM HDD
* to be a SATA HDD

Once you got it you have to open your machine (the back cover) and to replace the hard drive. To replace the hard drive means to UNPLUG two connectors from the old HDD and to replug them (the same position) into the new one.

And you will be good to go!
GOOD LUCK!

Running out of disk space on C: on lenovo Y510

The Lenovo Y510 has a 250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive, the only way to increase this is to purchase a bigger laptop hard drive from your nearest PC/Technology store. Take it in to their technitions and ask for assistance in the purchase of a bigger drive.

Hard drive crashed

Nope, it's just a matter of pulling the old hard drive and putting in the new one. Sometimes there will be an adapter attached to your old drive that you'll have to transfer over to the new one. What you need is a 2.5" mobile PATA (IDE) drive.

Need a bigger hard drive

No. But you need to be careful about what hard drive you install. There are a few models that will not work with the PS3. Thanks.

Buying bigger hard drive?

it is the difference in the consoles not the size of the hard drive.. the size of the hard drive is just an indicator between the different versions of the ps3
