SOURCE: Mop stopped producing steam while

In this unit the steam is generated by the boiling of a liquid. It doesn't matter what liquid: water, tea, wine, even gasoline - as long as it boils you can use it.
The heat needed to make the liquid boil is generated by a simple resistance controlled by a basic thermostat - if the temperature of the resistance goes over 100C the power to the resistance is cut. So in your case either the thermostat or, most likely, the resistance has failed.
Unfortunately there are no replacement parts for this unit - it's a use and junk device that is cheaper to replace than to repair. Sorry, time for a new one.

I took the advice on the chat site and checked the tightness of the gaskets on the bottom. They were not secure. Once I fixed that all was well.

My new beldray 12 in 1 steam mop makes a clicking noise when using?

I don't find specific information about this problem. Here are some things to try. If they don't work, you may call beldray customer service. Check the water tank: Ensure that the water tank is filled with enough water and is properly inserted into the mop.
Clean the mop head: Remove the mop head and clean it thoroughly. Dirt or debris on the mop head can cause clicking noises.
Check for blockages: Check for any blockages in the nozzle or steam outlet. You can use a needle or pin to remove any blockages.
Descale the mop: If your mop has not been descaled in a while, it could be causing the clicking noise. You can descale your mop by following the instructions in the user manual.

Red devil steam mop no steam coming out

Add CLR to water tank. Let it sit for an hr to overnight unplugged. Plug back in, turn on steam to medium setting and wait about 20 minutes. Mine started to steam and I let it steam for 5 min or so. Empty out CLR, add only "DISTILLED WATER" and clean away. Good luck.

What canI do to get the steam to come out at full capacity?

Mine won't work too. I opened the bottom and found lots of boiling water residual around the outlet. That is why no steam come out. Even if I cleaned it, steam becomed very little, 10% of original. I would say Dirt Devil steam mop is just gabbage product. I do not recomment anyone to pay $50 to buy no more than one or twice usage!

Just need simple instructions, can not find mine at the moment due to Christmas rush. Do I need to put warm or cold water in tank?

Hi,

It doesn't really matter - the water is heated to the correct temperature inside the steam mop - so you can use either. It's recommended that you fill with clean cold water, but if you put warm water in, it will still work and will generate steam faster from startup.

Whichever you use, just make sure you don't overfill it past the MAX mark on the tank.

Steaming very little. The mop used to have strong bursts of steam, but now will steam very little. I use distilled water in the tank. Should I clean it with vinegar and water?

Hi,
It will not hurt it to try and clean it...

Steam doesn't come out anymore when I pull the trigger. I think the water in the tank is getting hot, but when I pull the trigger, only a little water comes out. No steam

Try putting some white vinegar in the tank to dissolve any hard water deposits. You should use only distilled water in this machine. Don't try to clean anything with the vinegar in it, but take it outside to run the vinegar through.

I have a dirt devil steam cleaner. do I put the water in both containers or the one that is long, on the handle

okay if your have one that looks like that picture for it the water goes in the white tank on the handle piece, if the water is not spraying i'm guessing your hoses are clogged, as this sometimes happens if that is the case, run some lime away through it but don't spray the limeaway on your carpet it will eat it just use it to rinse it out and clear it
