If you subscribe to Caller ID service, your phone can block calls from up to 20 specific phone numbers. This is called the BLOCK LIST. To add phone numbers to the BLOCK LIST:
When the phone is idle, press MENU/SELECT.

It can be volume up or volume down after pressing the power button. Which one did you try - try both. Did you try pressing the reset hole with a pin?
Like in all iPads the switch on the side, close to the volume buttons can be switched to screen rotation block or sound off in settings, general and then from the top the forth menu block. Put that option to rotation lock. Now you can use that switch to lock or unlock the screen.
You'll need to do a factory reset: 1.
With the device off, press and hold Volume
Up and Power.
2.
Release the Power button when you see the logo, but continue
to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use
the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4.
Press Volume Up continue.
Hi, Turn On tv. Press and hold Volume Down button on TV Front and PIP/ SPLIT button on Remote at same time for 6 Seconds to reset Lamp Timer and tv will show you timer reset message screen. Hope this info will help you. Thanks.
Turn the volume down to 0 then change to a blocked channel. (where it asks
for v-chip password) Next, on the TV, not from the remote, hold the
volume down button, and hold the '0' key on the remote for between 2-10
seconds... the screen should unlock and you should have no V-Chip
restrictions. This works on some TVs, if not most.

Are you using Windows Vista? If you arethen go to Control Panel. 1. Click on PRINTERS. 2. When the Printer Properties comes up, CLICK on KEY SETTINGS. 3. Then set up the keys by selecting the Volume +/mute key which is the bottom one and click on it. It will give you another window. Make sure you have a check in the block that says "Displays Volume and Mute Status on screen" Hope that will help some. Bud Hope this helps. Bud
I had the same problem once with my RCA television. It only happened on certain channels and didn't happen during commercial breaks. If I adjusted the volume on the tv the box went away, but came back shortly after. The problem ended up being some malfunction in the closed captioning. I turned it all off and changed the CC settings and never had the problem again.
