Immediately remove the phone from the water, turn off the cell phone and remove the battery. When you have dried the cellphone by putting in a warm sunny place for several days then reassemble thephone. Hopefully it will work properly but if does not work then it is faultyand you need a new cell phone.

Cosmos phone buttons wont work

Thanks guy for your question. Many people face this problem what you face. I am also too many days ago. There are two reason for it i think. But dear you did not mentioned about your key problem details. I mean one key or all buttons. whatever just follow the instructions.

First,
is the key pad has short circuit under your key which is not visible. at may be for pressing key hardly or other way hurt it. as a result, it doesn't work.

2nd reason,
Under your buttons too much trash so your mobile buttons can work properly.

3rd

If your phone fell under water and water entered your phone then the system is blocked for short circuit. if it please wash your mobile immediately by thinner chemicals.

4th
The buttons system is disconnect or damage from cpu system in your mobile. then please consult with a professional technician. thanks

Phone fell in to water

Hey!

If your phone fell in water it may not be repairable. Send it off to your phone retailer and they will send it to the manufacturers. It usually take 4-8 weeks for them to fix it so your in for a long wait. My phone got washed on a 2 hour wash in the washing machine and it still works so they have a mind of their own. Haha

Hope this helped!

My samsung SGHJ700 fell in water.iwhat should i do?

The following method can be tried when everything else failed and the phone went through the washing machine, fell in salt water or was in dirty water for a long time etc.

Remove as many parts as possible (Sim card, covers, battery)

1. Soak the phone as soon as possible in distilled water to dissolve any dirt, salt, soap etc ( an ultasonic cleaner will be helpful )

2. Repeat step 1 if necessary ( depends how dirty the water was )

3. Soak the phone in Iso Propyl Alcohol ( a very short time in an ultasonic cleaner will be helpful to dissolve the distilled water in the alcohol )

4. Let the phone dry thoroughly,

5. Cross your fingers and switch it on.

Stanley knife blades fell down drum and under

Probably the best thing to do in this situation is to empty the washer out, then unplug it and turn the water off at the spigot.
Then invert the washer, leaning it back, so as to reach the blades under the drum.

Turning on my samsung x830

look for a key or button which has a circle with a dot in the middle of it this is the power button
hold it down until you get a response.
Oh make sure the phone is charged first.

It doesnt work! :(

SALUDOS!

Greetings Beertjie, Even though the Samsung X830 does offer Java support, one can't download and install new Java applications on the phone - only the pre-installed Java applications will work on the phone. It is therefore (because MXit is a Java application) unfortunately not possible to make a version of MXit for the Samsung X830. Samsung South Africa have updated their website and now no longer list Java support as one of the X830's features (previously incorrectly listed). This further confirms that the Samsung X830 doesn't offer Java support: http://www.samsung.com/za/products/mobilephone/handset/sgh_x830.asp?page=Specifications Regards, MXit_Team
