Unknown Error 4900 on i Tunes and Windows Vista

I can not burn a CD of an i Tunes playlist. I have windows Vista and upgraded to the most recent version of iTunes. I always get the unkown error 4900 message at the very beginning of the burn attempt. I am trying to burn onto Memorex CD-R discs.

Please help.

I have been having the same issue with my Itunes. I am starting to think that it is a problem with the songs I am trying to copy and not so much the program or disc's. I am using sony music cd-r and have tried repeatedly to copy one particular album that happens to be a new release. I am thinking that the songs may be protected and are causing the error to happen. I have tried to make a mix cd with other songs to break up the album but still wont burn correctly. When i try to burn a cd without those songs it works fine....The album in question is the new U2 album "no line on....."

I want to download my music off of itunes and put it on my sons mp3 player but its not working

i tunes and mp3 players are not compadable. i tunes is strictly for apple products(ipods) 2 download music to mp3 player, you would have to download music from ur pc from limewire or something like that. it will then copy to ur windows media player library and be ready to sync mp3 player.. good luck

Playlist dont Show

That player is set up for playlist transfer through Windows Media Player 10 only - you can either: 1) rollback your Windows Media Player to ver. 10; 2) attempt the firmware upgrade by running the Update tab in Philips Device Manager (may not work); 3) reinstall the installation CD - select Repair as your choice - it will add a plug-in that it may have skipped during initial installation. Good luck!

Getting music from cd into Insignia

if you Windows Media Player 9-11 you should go under sync and load the music that way then push sync button under the list

you can add the WMV, WMA in a raw fashon or add the playlist by dragging the playlist or indavidual song to the sync list

or

go under my computer in win XP/Vista click on the device and then click internal storage and drag the music files to the audio folder and the video files to the video folder(after making the folder)

Does not recognize

Ahh - you have Vista! You MUST get the newer version of the software from www.usasupport.philips.com. Enter your model number and go to the "software & drivers" section. Download the updated version of the device/firmware manager. Once the Vista-compatible version of the software is installed, then you can go to the Update tab and the firmware upgrade that you need will be installed - you will not get the "your player's firmware is already up to date message."

Windows Vista

The PSS110 software does not work with Vista, and there is no driver update.

The only way to use the PSS110 is on another XP system.
