Question about Lands Phones
Hi, Thanks. I do most of the programming on the system and I
have assigned access to that line for the phone through Line Data and also gave
access for the extension through Line Access, it just seems like there is
something I’m missing :( The phone is a private to line and it does ring but
you can’t answer it but the line data config and line access config are in
place as they were before the power cut. I didn’t set up the system originally
but do maintain it. Do you have any other ideas? Thanks Heather McDonald
Usually a private line rings in as a target line to a specific port and is assigned as Ring and Appear on that port. Do you have regular CO lines or a T-1 ? You might also check the programming you have in place and verify the line is set to " ring and Appear ' on the phone. If you have a T-1 you also have to make sure the " Received " digits are programmed. I'll be out most of today but will check back this afternoon and see if you have responded. Good Luck, ....Mike
