Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I can connect to some wireless network but not in our home WLAN, it always says web: No gateway reply. Pls help me. Thanks.

Try verifying your WEP key- by default, most gateways from an ISP setup WEP on their combination wireless/router/modems. If there are multiple wifi networks, you may considering shifting the channel- that is done by accessing the wireless router (I recommend via ethernet cable!) and shifting the channel to something other than 2, 4, or 11 (I usually use 3)
The usual IP's for routers are 192.168.0.1, 1.1, and 2.1
Depending on the manufacturer, it may require an user name and password- sometimes your ISP can help with that.

Everything seems connected and says connected yet I cannot get on the Internet.

Hi

STEP 1:Check for the IP address in the computer

STEP 2:Ping the router's default gateway and check whether u r getting replies without loss

STEP 3:If means "ping 4.2.2.2" in command prompt. It is global DNS and check whether u r getting replies without loss

STEP 4:If means "ping yahoo.com" check whether u r getting replies without loss

STEP 5:If means reset IE by going to Internet options------>advanced------>reset

STEP 6:If u din't get replies means assign a static DNS

THANKS....
With Regards......

Nokia n95 8gb connection problem

Hi there,

To connect to your home network via a modem you need to configure the Connection settings.

First off, go to Menu > Tools > WLAN Wiz.

Now open up WLAN Wiz. and it will automatically scan for nearby wireless networks available. Find which one you want to connect to.

If there are passwords and configurations required for it just highlight it and press Options and go to Define/Edit Access Point.

If there is no password then simply just connect.

Now you should be able to successfully connect to your home network.

Hope I have been of assistance to you,

Cheers :)

Wireless set up problem - no gateway ip or limited connectivity

Connect using Lan Cable
be sure to enable java on your Browser.
Use ONLY IE: some router refuse other browser.
SET your PC on a static IP address on SAME subnet as your router (but of course different IP).
If subnet concept is NOT clear to just just ask here.
When connected with router (on Lan Cable) check every setting (WPA-PSK) TKIP key, Broadcast / Channel etc.
You can also disable every WLAN protection and restore it later.
Activate WLAN connection WHEN you are STILL connected.
Last but not least: SET your DNS IP address = your gateway IP (router)

Trying to connect to my home wi-fi using laptop with installed linksys wpc54g wireless adapter but the problem is when i use linksys utility it starts, but can't find wifi lans i see frozen word searching...

limited or no connectivity means your wlan not communicating with the router, check if you turn on the wlan switch on your laptop or try to install updated driver for you wlan

if thats a external wireless lan card try to unplug and plug it back.
