I have installed the software for the Samsung B2030 LCD Monitor, but when I start up windows I get the message :Samsung monitor not found", yet I can still view things on the monitor. Should I be...

Dont be concern about this.

Attaching monitor to the computer doesnt really need a software to be in stalled. Windows already have a driver for it. Just remove the software to save space on the computer or just dont use it.

I hope this will give you an idea.

Thank you for choosing fixya

Envision G19LWK Monitor out of range?

It seems that you might have changed your Windows resolution to a much finer resolution that your monitor cannot accomodate. Restart your computer. Once you get a black screen (before the computer powers up), tap F8 repeatedly until you get the Windows Advanced Boot Option similar to the picture below.

Highlight safe mode with networking by pressing the "UP" arrow key then press "enter" key twice. Log on to your account. Click on "start". Open "control panel". Launch Display settings and change resolution by sliding to the lowest or to the left. Press "ok" button. Restart your computer to Normal mode. Change desired resolution from display settings which your monitor is limited for.

I hope this works for you. Kindly comment for further assistance. Thanks for using Fixya!

Hi, click on the "Start Button," next in the (right area) click on the "Control Panel," in the window there will be "listings" different categories; choose the "Mouse," from the "Hardware and Sound" click on it to open the next window. In this window, if its not showing the Buttons category at the top of the window , select it by clicking on it; there should be a (Double Click Speed) area somewhere in the middle from your point of view, adjust the speed and try it out a few times until you are satisfied with the movement. You can always go back and change some of the other movements available. I suggest, click on the "Device Setting" button, next, once the window open, click on the "Setting" button just below the "highlighted" (Name of the device TouchPad, or maybe different Name). Try out some of the "items listed" Tapping, Virtual Scrolling... "You must click on the "Apply, OK buttons when finished." Note: Restart the computer; this will make sure the changes are correctly applied, and working properly. "Rating the solution will let me know if the problem is fixed, or you will need further assistance, thanks."

Give me the right site to download windows all version like xp, vista, mac os x etc. i want a right site to download free full software please

Please open the link

Now in the search box please type the software you would want to download. For example the link I have provided would take you to the windows xp -SP3 download page. Similarly you can enter other windows version and download .

Note: These are torrents. Which means follow the link and download the smal file onto your desktop. Next open and download utorrent. Its a small application and would take 2 mins to download and install. Now open the file you have downloaded from and allow the download to happen.

It takes time depending on the file size . But its free and also has keys either packaged in the download or the comment section in the site.

Please let me know if you face any difficulties performing any step.

Dell LCD monitor has flashing lines, color distortion; random

I'm not an expert but I will give you a couple suggestion, who knows might help might not. It's worth shot.
First open your internet explorer, when webpage comes up, go to the top of you screen and click Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, scrool down under the list marked Browsing, put a check in the box next to "Use smooth scrolling." And try it again.
The next thing is try you other cord, it could be your video card.
If it works good on the other computer, chances are, The comupter is the problem.
If the computer has Windows XP on it you could try a restore point.
Go to Start button, Click All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore, Click on one of the Dates that would be, before you remember having the problem, click next, let the computer reboot. And, see what happens then.
Hope that helps some...

Benq 19" monitor not working every time when computer started

Check your connections and make sure they are tight, and there are no bent pins. If everything seems ok, you might want to try plugging this monitor into a different computer or plug a different
monitor into yours to determine whether it's the monitor, the video card, or maybe the driver (doubtful on this as you state it seems to be bad somethimes on boot).

Backlight is acting like a bad flour. tube .. everthing else OK

Normaly the backlights have a life of around 40k hours of working.
If your monitor is 3-4 years ,the backlight tube/s could be defective.Your description seems to indicate tube aging.

It's possible to replace the tube but needs a good amount of technical skill.
Do write if you need more help,Please indicate make exact model no etc.

How to open the monitor case

You should be able to find some small screws...just keep looking....but I don't recommend it. Unless you are a technician with experience you are not going to be able to accomplish much unless you have something very obvious...a blown capacitor or a burned spot somewhere....and even then, while not an art form, it does take some care and concern to replace a component. Also some components you may have to order (not available from a local supplier as a standard off the shelf part...i.e. a resistor) in which case you are waiting a while assuming you correctly order the right part (there are not a lot of monitor mfgs who put out detail electrical schematics). If still in warranty you are better off to send it in for repair. If not a fair number of TV repair shops will attempt to fix it. Computer shops don't bother typically....not worth the time nor effort nor do they have the prerequisite skills. That's why they don't advertise the service.
