I want to know how can i start my computer over like when i first bought it

To set you computer back to factory fresh settings you will need to format the hard drive and reinstall the operatins system and the drivers.
You will need to have the CD's that either you made when you got your computer or if your lucky you got the CD's that the factory furnished with the computer at the time you bought it.
1...Format the hard drive:
You do this by double left clicking on "My Computer",then double left click the main drive (normally C drive).
When the window pops open, you will choose "Format"
Keep in mind that once you format your hard drive you will loose all your files, programs, pictures, etc that you installed since the computer was new. So make your back up on a portable hard drive, thumb drive, etc.
2. Once the formatting of the hard drive is complete you will need to reinstall the operating system along with the drivers.
Insert Disk one into the CD/DVD and start reinstalling your operating system
That will bring your computer back to factory new condition as far as operating is concerned.

I need help to get a password on a sylvania netbook. The service is not working.

Based on the information you have provided, it seems that the issue is due to the "Netlogon Service".

The Netlogon Service is responsible for the Windows logon.

Hence, it is required to ensure that this particular Service is running.

Please follow the below steps to enable this Service:

1) Press the "Windows Logo" and "R" keys simultaneously.
2) This should open the Run command window.
3) In the Run command window, please type "services.msc" and press Enter.
4) This should open the Services window.
5) In the Services window, please check for the "Netlogon Service"
6) Double-click on the Netlogon Service.
7) Then, check if the Service is started. If not click on "Start" to start the Service.
8) Also, click on the drop down menu, and select the option to "Automatic".
9) Then, click on "Apply" and "OK'.
10) Restart the Computer and then try to login to Windows.
11) The issue should be resolved by the performing the above steps.

Hope this helps.

Please feel free to contact for further assistance.

Thank you.

How can I make my Netbook load faster?

You cannot if you have a SYNET07526, as it is a function of the Win CE system and the processor. The memory is fixed at 128M and the processor is 1M and the applications that are available are maximized for the net book, and you cannot change any of these factors such as adding memory. Sorry you are stuck with what you have.

The built-in Motion Eye Camera is designed to add video functionality to many instant Messaging or video editing Software applications (such as Windows Messenger or MovieMaker). However the configuration process and support for how to set-up these individual applications is provided by the Software manufacturer, not Sony. Please contact your Yahoo Messenger support team for assistance on how to configure their Software.

TIP: Simply turning on your Computer activates that camera, so no specific
action is required to start the video services. Please note that only one
application can access the video signal at a time. If the signal is already
in use by one application, it will not be able to be detected by a second

Follow this procedure to take still image pictures with the integrated Sony Motion Eye camera.
1. On the taskbar, click Start and then click My Computer.
2. In the My Computer window, double-click the Sony Visual Communications icon.
3. In the Sony Visual Communications window, under Camera Tasks, click Take new picture.

Follow this procedure to capture video with the integrated Sony Motion Eye camera.
1. On the taskbar, click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Movie Maker.
2. In the Windows Movie Maker window, on the left side under Capture Video, click Capture from video device.

I believe that the exaust air is warmer now than when I bought the unit about four years ago. I tried to remove the fan cover to see if the filter might be clogged with lint, dust, etc.,, but after the one...

Four years without cleaning guarantees it's full of crud. That can shorten the life of everything inside. Plus there's the noisy fan, yuck.

I occasionally blow out PCs with compressed air. There's the little cans of air & freon you can get in the store, but I have an air compressor and blow gun. I run it about 30 PSI and blow it in reverse of normal air flow, and repeat until no more dust comes out. I do it in the garage. And VERY gently. Of course I take off whatever is easy to take off, and open the CD hatch, etc.

If the PC boots slowly, consider installing a nice Linux like Ubuntu instead of Windows (how did I know you run Windows?). It will run better than new.

Hi, the best thing to do at this point is perform a "System Restore." Try to remember the exact "Date before the problem occur, or once you start the System Restore, ("pick a date going back more than 5 days"), check the dates and see if any of the dates seem familiar. Pick the (closest date prior) to missing the "Recycle Bin" Type: in the "Start Search Window" from the start menu: system restore; scroll to find, and open. Follow all the instructions carefully, and most of all be "patient" the process can take a long time; you cannot do any type of work on the computer at all, after the restore start. Once the restore is completed, the computer will restart, do not use or even touch a "key" until the computer notify you take the system has been restored; follow all instruction afterward, if in the event it didn't not take the first time. "I hope it works out for you; if so rating the help will let me know if the problems fixed, or you need further assistance, thanks."

I formated my without driver i couldnot get net connection and also sound card

Hi, you have to "Update Drivers" the system is like new so there are "Hardware and Software" items that have to be updated, and or "reinstalled." This what you need to do; click on the "start button," scroll to find "Windows Updates," open it and have it "scan" for updates. I will tell you now this may take a while, so you have to be very patient with the process. You will have alot of "stuff" that will need to be updated. Now! There is a more direct approach that you can take to focus on just the areas of immediate concern. "Internet Connection and Sound. First, for the "Sound," open the "Start Menu" select the Control Panel, in the next window, click on the "Hardware and Sound" category. Next select "Manage audio devices." In the "General" area, click on the Speaker Icon, when the "Properties" highlighted, click on it to open, click on the "Driver Button." Next, click on the "Update Driver" button. Note: Click on "Apply, OK, and Save ("if present?; this will make sure the application is completed correctly"). Go back to the "Control Panel" and choose the "Internet status and tasks," the wording made differ from systems being used, open the window, in the (left) Tasks area, choose "Diagnose and Repair" first! If all goes well, Great! If Not? Go back to the Control Panel and apply the different "Tasks," Note: "Always restart the computer after making changes to the computer so that the changes can take effect properly. "Rating the solution will let me know if it helped or you may need further assistance, thank you."
