You do realize that you can purchase a new VCR from Walmart for less than $20. That is less than most places charge for the manual. I'm going to suggest a new VCR, versus the headache and hassle of fixing this one.

If you have the original remote, find the menu page that sets up the
tuner and either set it manually or use the auto tune feature. If
not, get a universal remote with a menu button and do the same.
Finlandia is just a brand name, I'm sure teh VCR is made by one of the
usual manufacturers and will work with a universal remote but you have
to tediously try all the codes until you find the right one.
