Question about Mitsubishi VS-70707 70" Rear Projection Television
I've had this tv for over 9 years and have never had a problem with it till the other night. The tv started to have a horizontal roll in the image. We turned the TV off and and when we turned it back on the image was very dark and continued to roll. If left on for about a half hour the image will stop rolling until you hit the menu button then it starts to scroll again. If you turn it off and let it cool off you can repeat this over and over again.
When the image does stop scrolling the bottom half of the screen is a pale green color but can be adjusted out if you reduce the color menu to half way.
any help would be appreciated!

I had a similar problem years ago. A fellow replaced the PIP module, and it worked like new. PIP module cost me $100 with exchange.

Good Day, firefighter1;
IT SOUNDS YOU HAVE A PROBLEM IN THE 9 VOLT CIRCUIT: CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01 (9-VOLT REGULATOR) ON THE SIGNAL PCB. THAT SHOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM, IT'S COMMON FOR THIS TV.
GOOD LUCK, big IRISH>
