Question about Canon CanoScan N640P Flatbed Scanner
Im using Windows XP and when I print anything without scanning my Lexmark printer works perfectly but when I scan something with my CanoScan N640P the whole back ground prints black instead of remaining white.
There could be a setting in your scanner drivers to fix that. It would be under background settings.
The other thing you can do is preview the document first and select the area you want to scan. Then press the scan button again. That way the black background that isn't needed will not print.
