it needs to be repaired others have had the same problem.
here's one review...
liked this product very much, until it died after a little under 1.5 years. I brought it to a repair center recommended by Panasonic. They quoted me a parts-and-labor price of around $125 to fix the thing. The repair included a new membrane pad (the buttons on the front), new fuse, and new fuse holder.
The repair center told me they've been instructed by Panasonic to replace all old fuse holders with newer, better ones. Apparently, the original fuse holder was somewhat defective, causing the fuse to burn out. I don't know if this bears any relation as to why a relatively new membrane pad might have gone bad, but it's certainly annoying for a device costing several hundred dollars.
Hi, If you have an electronic ignition, there are no open flames. So you are ok to paint. Just make sure to not turn anything on while the paint fumes are in the air and you will be good. If you do want to turn off the stove, unplug it from the wall. To turn the gas off you will need to pull it away from the wall and turn off the valve behind it, if it has a valve, some do not.
On a Panasonic Invertor Microwave, Code 98 means the magnetron or invertor is faulty and requires service at an authorised Panasonic repair center. Hope this helps.
So, you cleaned the burner per the manual (or the one you looked at when visiting the appliance store,) and it still flames out right after coming on? Sometimes things catch in the works and there are a few methods to clear them out (e.g. at the controls) depending on the model. Beyond that,in order to disconnect the stove and check the inlet filters, you might want to call the appliance or gas co for a technician. No use having leaks, searching forever for the main shutoff valve, etc.
