If the fan is working o/k, then the oven element is most likely faulty.
This is located at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

SOURCE: De Dietrich oven not working!

I suspect that it is the oven lock that needs replacing. I bought a De Deitrich oven (pyroclean) in Sept 2007. The oven failed to heat in Aug 2009. The oven lock needed replacing which meant the unit had to be removed from the wall. It was replaced under guarantee but failed again in June 2010 and was replaced at a cost of €140 by enginneer. I am very dissappoined in the oven and expected to have no problems with it considering the DeDeitrich name. I would not recommend it to a friend. By the way the clock is easy to use if you follow the instructions exactly. Oven used by two careful owners only.

Hot air blowing out at the top of De Dietrich oven, just after putting on new oven seal, fan seems ok what could it be.

Pending on the location of the oven (i.e. not where the seal is) it could be natural ventilation of the oven. Many ovens have ventilation underneath the stovetop.

Fan oven not heating up have change the power board

Hi, the main problem with this fault since you have changed the power board is that the fan element has blown. This usually cannot be seen without taking the fan cover off inside the oven.

Take care

Fan oven wont work convection works

Assuming the fan is working o/k, but there is no heat, then it is most likely that the oven element has failed.
This is to be found at the rear of the oven compartment behind a removeable cover.
Hope this helps.

How to get the heating element out of the large oven in a De Dietrich DOD348*

If you mean the element at the back (not the bottom one), inside the oven undo a screw at the back to reveal the element, then undo one more screw attaching the element. THEN, totally disassemble the oven, removing all the cladding, taking off the top oven and controls, detaching lots of wires to be able to do this, in order to finally gain access to the 2 little nuts securing the element behind the oven. Then if you're not sufficiently dismayed by De Dietrich's design skills, email their customer service to be given the wrong part recommendation at twice the price of an independent supplier. Finally, buy part from independent supplier, spend several hours dismantling and rebuilding oven. Then it will work. But maybe don't ever buy De Dietrich (Brandt) again!

Oven Light does not turn off

The problem is due to a faulty door switch, this is part of the door lock mechanism. The reason is that the oven thinks the door is open , this puts on the light and stops some of the oven functions ie the fan the fan element and probably the bottom element.
The answer is to fit a new door lock mechanism.
