Make sure the printer paper feed is not blocked with any paper. then check that the rollers are clean.

Also you need to make sure that the paper feed has the correct size settings (Usually a slide across guide labeled from a5-a4/letter)

My Officejet 4500 does not eject a printed page fully, causing the next page to overprint the bottom of the previous page.

Sounds like the printer is set up to print a smaller size paper than the sheet size you are actually using. Measure your paper size, then go into the printer settings and choose the sheet size that matches.

Server 2008 drivers for HP deskjet 6122

"Add a printer" in "My Computer"/"Printers" or "Control Panel"/"Printers". The 6122 will print from the HP 920, 930, 932, 940 & 950 drivers also - (which are included with many Windows systems). If you chose the 970 driver it will want a second sheet of paper to print a test page, which you can ignore and it will stop trying. All drivers seem to be the same print quality in my systems. I do not use the 970 or 6122 driver at all so I don't have an ink level monitor or any possible related potential glitch.

My HP Inkjet 6122 has suddenly started printing color photos with stripes. I don't use it very often, only when I need color photos. I have replaced both the #45 black and #78 color cartridges with genuine...

Use the HP Printer Assistant software tools to run a "head-cleaning" cycle -- the problem is not with the ink (there is plenty of it) but with the print-heads (that **** the ink, and then spray it onto the paper). Some of the jets are clogged, and so you get "white-stripes".

I have a HP Deskjet 6122 Printer and I need a driver for Windows 7 that I can load on a flash driver to put on another computer

Windows: "Add a printer" in "My Computer"/"Printers" or "Control Panel"/"Printers". The 6122 will print from the HP 920, 930, 932, 940 & 950 drivers also - (which are resident/included with your Windows XP and Vista systems). I do not use the 970 or 6122 driver at all so I don't have an ink level monitor or any possible related potential glitch. I wet and slap stubborn old ink cartridges to un-stick dry jets. sometimes I use a small clear silicone tube to suck a bit of ink to get them started as the jet holes need priming sometimes if they are old.

Paper feed problem

this is the rare case: there could be two problem 1) either some bit of paper would have been stucked inside the printer 2) or else the roller is not smooth. the roller inside the printer helps to draw out the paper gently.

6122 Printer says it is out of paper and will not print test page

Hi Ken,
The user manual says this:

1. Verify the following:
There is sufficient paper in the paper tray (at least ten sheets).
The paper tray is not overly full.
The paper stack is touching the back of the paper tray.
2. Slide the paper guides so they fit firmly against the edges of the paper.
3. Press the Resume button to continue printing.

Sometimes my printer won't print if it has too little or too much paper in the slot. It's a relatively common sensor problem.
Try that.

If all else fails, here's a link to the user manual in pdf form:

Good luck

Printed paper does not completely eject.

Sounds like you've got dirty rollers or paper chips stuck in the rollers. You'll have to inspect and remove what you find. You may use a rag with rubbing alcohol to clean rollers that have become glazed with whatever they get glazed with...dried ink and such.
