If you disassemble the phone, there are small parts that cannot be reassembled. Best bet leave it together. Do you have protection against water damage? Although protection is at a monthly cost, it is always advisable if you have a phone that is pricey. Water damage under the protection plan will still cost you a deductible. But that deductible is much easier to dig for in your pocket than replacing the device with a comprable one at the retail value. Always add protection onto your phone when you purchase a new one. It just makes sense (cents) in more than one way.
