The "Library" is actually the My Documents --> My Music folder unless you've reconfigured your media player

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to download music on a iphone 3g?

there are several ways you can download and put music on your iPhone 3G

1.-Purchase songs in iTunes directly on your iPhone (this will cost you money and require you to create an iTunes account,if you download apps, you already have one).

2.-Insert a CD into the computer you plug your iPhone to, open the CD with iTunes, and rip the contents of the disc into iTunes (iTunes has a tutorial for this if you need further information), sync your phone with your iTunes on the computer and the songs will be added to your song library in your phone.

3.-You can use a P2P (peer to peer) sharing program ex. Frostwire, Winamp, eMule, to download the songs onto your computer. Take note of what folder these downloaded songs are being sent to. In iTunes, select File>add folder to library, a window will open, select the file where the downloaded music is located, and iTunes will add it into the music library in iTunes. Sync your phone with iTunes and the downloaded songs will be added to the music library on your phone

Switch off laptop, turn it on again songs no longer in itunes library. please help?

Your library lists songs detected by the laptop but not on your laptop. It might be detecting your home network or a music player.

1. Launch iTunes.
2. Click the iTunes drop down menu at the top of the screen.
3. Select "Preferences"
4. Select "Advanced". Its icon is a gear, at the far right of the window.
5. Select "Copy files to iTunes Media Folder..." in the upper middle of the window.
6. Select "Sharing" at the top of the window Its roughly in the middle.
7. Select "Look for Shared Libraries."

Ihave about 250 song on my laptop and wanted to put them all on my laptop but im getting problems putting them all on there it has done 150 of them but it is sayin that itunes cant find the other 100 on my...

I assume you have a Windows laptop. Make sure that the remaining 100 songs are not in .wma format, or else you will need to convert them to .mp3 first.
To add these remaining songs to your iTunes library and eventually to your iPhone, you must first locate where these songs are from Windows Explorer (e.g. My Documents) meaning you must open the folder/folders where these songs are located. If you've been using Windows Media Player to play these songs before, open WinMP and right-click on the specific song then select "Open file location". That will take you directly to the folder where that specific song is. When you find the song (as a file in a folder), right-click on it and select "Open with" then select "iTunes". That will automatically add the song you selected to iTunes library.
You can also do that with multiple songs by:
holding CTRL (from your keyboard) and clicking on each specific song you want to add to iTunes library; or
selecting the first song, then holding SHIFT (from your keyboard) and clicking the last song from that folder
.. then, right-click on one of the songs, select "Open with" then select "iTunes".
Once your done adding all your songs to iTunes library, you can then sync your iPhone.
Again, the remaining songs must NOT be .WMA format.

Artist all songs is wrong

This means that your Library is corrupted and needs to be recreated this will not delete you *.omg files just you library.

Please delete your Library: Go to the Windows Explorer, and make sure to make hidden files visible (go to the Tools on the menu and click the Folder Options, then on the View tab, select the Show hidden files and folder.)
Browse to C:\Document and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Corporation\CONNECT Player\Library and delete all the files located in this folder. Then, recreate a new library.

How to put songs on it

if you have limewire or frostwire, download the songs you want, then you go to "Library" and click on explore. There will be a folder that pops up and click on "Shared".
You need Windows Media Player 10 or 11. Then click on Sync and drag the songs from the "shared " folder to your Sync list.
then click "Start Sync"

MP3 HOW DO I PUT SONGS ON IT

first of all, find yourself a good music download site, limewire.com is excellent. then download all of your favorite songs. go to library click on "explore". when the share folder comes up click on "organize" then "select all". when the little pages turn blue right click one of them and then left click "add to windows media player". the media player will come on playing your first song (normal). click on "sync" then click "sync now playing". you can check progress by going to the media library and clicking on the sansa c140 in the sidebar. hopefully you will be jamming before long. oh! do not unplug your device until it says it's ok on the media player or you click stop sync.;)
