After 2 weeks the ref malfunction again after defrosting. the technician told me that it should need to replace the compressor worth 3,000. do you think it is the right solution. Thanks .

No. Your defrost cycle is not working. Depending on the age of your fridge, you could have a defrost timer or an integrated defrost timer on the control board. You also have an electric defrost heat that wraps your freezer coil that defrosts your coil. You didn't leave any info on your unit so I cant get more specific, but your issue is your defrost cycle and not your compressor

SOURCE: defrost thermostat connector

Where is the defrost heater? If it is below the problem area, I don't think it is a defrost problem. This sounds like low freon. The symptoms of this are heavy frost on only part of the coils. Try deforsting with a hair dryer and putting it back together. Wait about 3 hours and look again. If there is frost only on part of the coils that is bad. The most this unit could defrost is every 4 hours, most are on 8 or 12 hour cycles. On most units the defrost timer shuts off the compressor and gives current to the defrost heater/s through the defrost thermostat. This thermostat is closed below 15 degrees and opens at a much higher temp after sensing the heat. This shuts off the heat usually before the timer and lets the water drip down where it should go. Then the timer turns the compressor back on and removes current from the defrost system. A common defrost problem is if the doors are left open for a LONG time or not shut all the way. Sometimes it causes so much ice that it can't melt with just one defrost cycle. This problem builds as if air flow is restricted it causes even more frost and gets worse. If this ever happens , just find the defrost timer and turn it very slowly click by click just until the compressor stops. Let it defrost , then do it again in about 2 hours. If it is a low freon problem there may still be a partial warrenty left sometimes the sealed system is guarenteed ror 5 - 10 years. Sometimes if it is not covered it is not worth fixing.

Evaporator fan motor inside the freezer is working? Any frost on the freezer back wall?

This is the fan inside the freezer section, it will circulate the cold air around in the freezer and blow the cold air from the freezer into the fresh food section, it also sucks the warm air from the fresh food section back into the freezer to be re-cooled.

Hot condensor coils ( under the refrigerator ) been cleaned recently?

**GSS25LGMA**

That is part of a full model#.

SOURCE: compressor runs continuously, and center bar (heat dissipator) is extremely hot to touch.

Molly, The hot bar is a normal part of the sealed system (compressor) operation. The relay they told you about is on the back of the compressor and I would not recommend you changing that. The refrigerator is a balanced system, the freezer air removes the heat from the refrigerator side. If the compressor runs all the time, look for food close to the edge and not letting the doors close completely. Move items back. Don't over pack the freezer, the air must circulate. The refrigerator of today runs longer and uses less power that the old refrigerator. If you are still having issues with this model call a authorized Kitchen repair person in you area and ask how much they charge to come to your house and give an estimate.

My dishwasher do not stop at the end of a cycle, it carries on with the next cycle

If your Kelvinator dishwasher is not stopping at the end of a cycle and carrying on with the next cycle, there could be a few different reasons. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the timer: Make sure that the timer is set correctly and that it is not stuck in a continuous loop.
  2. Check the control board: Make sure that the control board is not malfunctioning.
  3. Check the water level sensor: Make sure that the water level sensor is not clogged or malfunctioning.
  4. Check the door switch: Make sure that the door switch is not stuck in the closed position.
  5. Check the wash impeller: Make sure that the wash impeller is not clogged or malfunctioning.
  6. Check the wash motor: Make sure that the wash motor is not malfunctioning.
  7. Contact Kelvinator customer support: If you have tried all the above steps and the dishwasher is still not working, it may be best to contact Kelvinator customer support for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose and fix the issue, or tell you if a repair is needed.

Kelvinator Cyclic 330 not getting cold enough

Empty the refigerator and freezer, unplug it for about 8 hours, leave freezer door open so it will completely defrost. Plug it back in for 4 hours and close doors before you fill it back up with food. If you have a thermometer, check the interior temperatures before you fill it back up. Refigerator should be around 42 degrees F.

I have a kelvinator with a class code 34-43, stock no. 013-6, 12NF (white) kelvinator 2-door ref. and the problem is though my felvinator is a no frost the freezer is continuously forming ice (when it is...

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.
First I would check cold control. Thats where you turn it off, if your temp is not warm. it can
be defective and not shutting off. If your temp is warm proceed with the following.
I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if FREEZER CONTROL is turned WARMER WHICH MAKES THE REF COLDER AND VICE-VERSA. SEE?
The ref. temp should be about 33-35
The Freezer temp should be 0 to 10 Any thing below these temps is overkill and a waste of elect
The higher the number you turn it up to is the coldest
But is probably a common defrost problem The ice build up
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath
Make sure back cover is on the fridge. Some take them off and throw them away.
make one out of cardboard if its gone, using the holes of the old one.

WATER SPLASHING IN FREEZER AT ICEMAKER
THE FILL TUBE IN BACK OF REFRIGERATOR CAN SLIP

REMOVE THE ICEMAKER AND INSPECT THE FILL TUBE.
RUN WATER IN TUBE TO ELININATE BLOCKAGE AND CHECK

OVERKILL AND USUALLY A WASTE OF ELECTRICITY TO KEEP IT THAT COLD, NOT TO MENTION THE FILL TUBE FREEZING UP

We have a Kelvinator No-Frost Refrigerator-Freezer Model N609PE and for the last week or so have noticed that it forms ice at the bottom of the freezer under the vegetable basked. It still works perfectly...

The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? The defrost water
overflows into the ref. or freezer or on floor
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

GE Profile PSC23MYA-WW control panel not working. Interior lightscome on when door is opened, but ref. and freezer are getting warmer. No way to set temperatures.

The control board must be check. It is where the temperature control and the defrost timer located their electronic control circuit and the button panel. Usually the temperature control and defrost timer must be set and adjusted to be able to control the function of the refrigerator. Since it is not working anymore there's no other option but to check it.
Good luck to you.

"Hi, I have a questions

It seems you will need a service technician again. Be sure you got a warranty if you agreed to service your refrigerator. If you use the refrigerator correctly it will never go bad for less than a year and call for service repair. But if you definitely used it correctly, chances are the refrigerator you brought have a factory defect.
I hope my advice help you.

Once you get it working, run a decent AntiVirus programme, (Norton etc), then run CHKDSK/F from the search bar then download IObit.com and asc-setup. Asc is free and works to clean your registry properly. If you can't boot try safe mode and run from there.
That should fix you power problem unless it is the switch.
