Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Servise Pack 2 (e8503040) for PC
My son bought a used laptop. The guy he bought it from cleaned it up so that it didn't have any of his personal information, but goofed up some driver/file for the CD drive. I called Toshiba and they walked me thru a restore. Now when the computer starts it wants the former owners password. I've tried starting in safe mode and that doesn't work for VISTA. I've gone into the setup utility - security and there are only two options listed: Set User Password and Set Supervisor Password. I don't know which one to use or if I need to use either one. Can somebody help?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
