Possible that the batteries have leaked and stuck , if so use some degreasing spray like WD40 on the base of the terminal connection , let it soak a bit and then try to pull off the battery use a bend flat rod or screwdriver. Once removed you must clean the surface and see if there is damage on the unit. If so clean and wash before new battery is replaced.
Do a Hard Reset method to clear the keyboard and mouse settings and reconnect it back to your computer:
• Remove the batteries from the keyboard • Press the Connect button on the receiver for 10 seconds. • Press the Connect button on the mouse. (You might need a pencil tip or other small tip to press the connect button.) • Insert the batteries back into the keyboard. • Press the Connect button on the receiver. • Press the Connect button on the keyboard.
Hope this helps
I do have a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard as well its model is EX100. If this is the first time you are replacing the batteries then here are the steps:
Slide the top cover of the mouse downwards.
You need to press it down slightly to unlock the cover.
Replace the batteries
Put the cover back in
If the mouse does not respond after replacing the old batteries press the Connect button underneath it
Here is the link for the detailed manual for Logitech's EX100 mouse and keyboard. http://www.logitech.com/assets/35687/quick-start-guide.pdf However if you have a different model, click the link below and select the model you have and click on "Changing the battery on my (Logitech mouse model)" http://www.logitech.com/en-roeu/support-downloads/downloads/mice If this doesn't help you, I will continually check on this and if you can provide the model of your mouse, the better. Thank you for choosing FixYa! Enjoy!
This might help and might not. Check in system to see what devices you have on the same usb hub. The more things on the same hub the less power that goes to the transceiver for the mouse and the keyboard. Ideally if you can just connect the one thing to the one usb hub and try to leave it alone from there. Hope this helps.
