Question about AOpen MA-691 Computer Speakers
I live aboard ship and have 12 volt DC available up the kazoo. I need some physically small powered speakers I can do a cord-ectomy on the brink and tap 12v DC direct off the ship’s power.
Trust me I have an audio input powered by 12 volts so when we are under sail I don’t need the AC power.
Also what are the approx dimensions +/- ¼ inch.
Any PC speakers that have a AC plug pak attached can probably use 12V simply cut off the AC plug packs lead that goes to the speakers, and connect up 12V ya should be good to go.. some connect with a Phono Plug, and usually the Outer is Minus Voltage and the Centre is Plus Voltage .. they are also generally Diode protected so a reversal shouldn't cause too many probs...
