First check if ur builtin webcam is enabled in the BIOS . This is easily checked by turning on your computer and following the screen to enter BIos setup . Its usually a simple press of F2 key before the operating system screen pops up .
Second while the operating system pops up , check in the device manager if the webcam is properly installed . This is easy for windows system where you just go into Control Panel , then System Properties , then Advanced Properties , down to device manager .
Third , simply do a test on Windows Update , Maybe there is a driver conflict or a new webcam driver present and you simply download the updates for your computer
