My Player is doing the same thing. It syncs the first song at 100% and then it never stops.

Be sure to save any files that you'll want to add back later saved somewhere because all files are deleted. ie the picture folder or the video folder if you still have the default videos that was given with your player.
I did this and was able to sync all my songs back to the MP3 player easily afterwards and drag and drop the videos and pictures back in.

Thanks!!!

I actually did this before seeing your post. I was a little nervous to do this but I thought why not, what do I have to lose? It worked. Thanks very much.

Try reformatting the player as FAT to erase the storage memory. Use the PC to do this and not the internal "formatting" option.

Best of luck!

I have a black 8gb ipod nano and when I sync previous songs

this is what you will do, when you sync it again stop the automatic sync the click on your player on the itunes window to see its details, you will see 3 or 4 checkboxes and check manually add music or songs and ucncheck if there is any, the box that says automatically sync music, then click sync, it will start syncing again the disconnect. add songs only to the folder where itunes have got the songs so that next time you sync the ipod the songs previously added wont be erased.
for further details check here... http://www.apple.com/itunes/how-to/#video-sync

All songs erased from my ipod touch

Did you sync the songs using iTunes? If yes, then you should still have them in your iTunes music library. Just re-sync the iPod with iTunes and you should be fine.

*On a side note: you really shouldn't be telling everyone where you get your music...the next thing you know...Big Brother will be sending you letters about stealing.*

Trouble downloading music

Try directly copying the songs from your music folder to the music folder on your Mp3 player.

ok what u have to do is this,

find the songs u dont want anymore and uncheck them in itunes and find the songs u want to add and check them, now go to itunes settings and change the syncing options to sync only checked items and then sync the ipod and the stuff u want gone will be gone a the stuff u want there will be there. :)

Adding songs

When you sync, you are telling Windows Media player to make the player match what is currently in your sync list. So if you removed the first 110 from your Windows Media, that is why they disappeared from the player.

You don't need to use Windows Media player to add songs. Simply open Windows explorer, double-click your Sandisk device, double click the music folder, then drag and drop any files you want into the folder.

Dont know how to put songs on my ipod

Apple intended iTunes to be used to sync your ipod. There is a windows version available on www.apple.com/itunes
Also, if you are syncing songs, make sure they are in a compatible format. (ie not .wma files)

Make sure you have synced the songs properly. Try the windows media player. Sometimes when you add songs it just adds it to computer part but does not sync. If u can add how downloaded the songs to your description.

Empty song list

Here's what happened: When you first synced your player to Windows Media Player, you may have set up the automatic sync option. When this option is selected, Windows Media Player will add EVERY song, picture, etc from your Library on your computer to the player. Now, every time you sync you device, it adds every new file from your computer into the player automatically. It will even delete songs from your player that were on there before.

Go into Windows Media Player 11 with your player connected to the computer (it will automatically sync and add new files one last time), move the mouse cursor over to the sync tab; a small black arrow will appear under the word "Sync"; click on the small black arrow and a dropdown menu will appear; select "Portable media device" from the dropdown menu, and another dropdown menu will appear; select "Set Up sync"; a window will appear with some information on your device - uncheck the box that says "Sync this device automatically"; click Finish; This will eliminate the problem of Windows always adding/deleting songs/files you don't want into your player.
