SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I get rid of echo sounds in my speakers ?

Sometimes the echo is produced by the MIC, if you have a Mic mute it, or make it far from the sound source, or disable the MIC boost function on the recording device on the multimedia panel.

Cleaning hard drive

If you want to just get rid of virus/malware and other nasties, then you dont need to , but its always best to regularly back important stuff up.
Follow this guide to clean your Operating system
http://www.fixya.com/support/r5272277-secure_clean_computers

If however you need to re-install windows with a normal windows disc, everything will be lost and you will need the drivers for your motherboard and other equipment.
If you are doing a factory restore/recovery then you will loose everything, but all your drivers and programs that where on your computer when new will be there.

Feel free to ask if anything is not clear, or you need more information

Everything works except the person I call cannot hear me. I am using skype. The echo check on skype works, I have tried two other cameras and I have the same problem. No matter how I change the settings...

The Camera and Audio setups are unrelated in both Windows and Skype. Please check your Windows Audio devices volume settings and specifically the Microphone settings: it appears to be disabled or the volume level set much too low. The windows settings overrides the settings in Skype (or in other words, Skype volume settings are a subset of the Windows volume settings). Check that Skype audio is setup properly after starting Skype: Tools -> Options -> Audio Settings -> select your required devices and volume levels. During this ajustment process, make free calls to Skype 'Echo / Sound Test Services".
Hope it helps! Let me know how you go!

How do get rid of echo on sound from speakers?

When you say echo, are you meaning sound coming from your mic echoing thru the speakers or a sound like your in a bathroom on all audio.

If you are referring to the mic issue, then open your volume control and make sure that MIC is muted in playback setttings

If you are refering to bathroom sound on everything , it is called a "environmental setting" and in in your sound cards software setup, like their version of the volume control or some other application they have installed for you to configure your card. Just locate the "environmental" setting and disable it / set it to none.

All sounds on my computer sound like they're in an echo chamber

I had this problem. I right clicked on the speaker icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen, selected playback devices, left clicked to highlight the 'speakers' (realtek in my case) then clicked properties in the lower right of the open window, clicked on the enhancements tab, and found that my sound effect properties had been changed to auditorium. I clicked the selection arrow and changed the enhancements to 'none'. Oh happy day! No more echo.

it sounds like you need to go to your windows audio mixer and MUTE your microphone. The mic should always be muted no matter what.. this is application controlled.
