Reset it and it will work fine! To reset it: plug it in and hold down the power button for about 20 seconds.

If your iron won't reset (As mine didn't!) just place it (being extremey careful) over a hot surface (just touching the ceramic part of the iron and ONLY the ceramic!...I did it with a small butane torch just heating the ceramic flat surface) to "force it" to go over that boring 69 number. Let i go as high as you can, preferably up to 450 F and...Voila! after that the iron will work perfectly!

Croc only heats up to 230 degrees is there a way to reset it

CHANGE TEMPERATURE SETTING from CELSIUS to FAHRENHEIT

To Change the Temperature Setting from CELSIUS [230 Degrees] to FAHRENHEIT [450 Degrees]

If [230] appears on the display screen, then the temperature is set to Celsius. To change back to Fahrenheit:

1. Turn off your flat iron and unplug from electrical socket (wait for 10secs).

2. Then plug the iron back into the electrical socket.

3. Press & hold down the HIGH [?]button, then press ON/OFF button. An "F" will appear on the digital screen. Your device is now in Fahrenheit mode.

My oven won't heat above 255 degrees. just curious what the problem might be.

You do not state if this is in centigrade or fahrenheit.
If it is centigrade, then it will not reach more than this if it is a domestic oven, if fahrenheit, then it should get hotter, so I would suspect a faulty oven thermostat as being the cause of the problem

When i change the temperature to make it hotter, the screen blinks then goes back to being 30 degrees colder. Is my heater ignoring my request because it never reaches the temperature i want it to. it...

First you have to understand in thermostat there are Fahrenheit & Centigrade degree. If Centigrade between 16 to 30 and if it is Fahrenheit 60 to 86.
If you press the symbol ther> and > (or) ther- and ther+ at a time degree will change.
Now you set your temp +10 degree from your room temp and also keep "heat" mode.
