Question about Canon PowerShot A640 Digital Camera
My camera thinks the media card is locked when it isn't. In fact I've never locked it. I've tried reformating it in my husband's A570 (and I can use it in his camera) but mine still thinks it's locked.
How do I fix this problem?
Thanks, Jean Mazur
Inside your camera there is a detector that senses that your card is locked or not it sounds like yours is stuck in, you may be able to free it get yourself a flash light and look inside the socket on the side where the slide is on the memory card use a very small tool or paper clip you have to be really careful when doing this you could break the sensor if your to rough on it.Good luck
