Re: about rca model r52wm24
Yes I know where you can get the signal board for your model. Go to the following link and leave them a email with your model and chassis number and let them know you need a signal board. They will respond back quickly. they have about any bopard you need for RCA they dont list them all, but inquire, and I am almost positive that they have one.Heres the link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/

THe rca itc222 chasis has No convergence ics it uses a series of transistors to do the same. YOU replaced the Fl231 fuse and it blew. Did you resolder flyback connections. this is why the fuses blow. check out the article under the tips and tricks section written by me willtab ... see if this helps if not let me know .. i see alot of these at the shop ( i got one right now in front of me with the FL231 probelem LOL) if can let me know i give you help
I will need you to look on the rear tag and let me know the chassis number as that model was produced with two different chassis numbers ITC222 and the ATC221 chassis was used, But the chassis number will be on the tag on the rear panel. Please reply to this same post and I will help you locate the power supply board.
Can you look on the rear panel and post the Chassis number to your set as that model has used 3 different chassis designs. They have a ITC222, ICC222 or a ATC series. If you can respond to this same post with the chassis number I will be able to assist you with the problem
There are 4 variants of your model listed. Can you please post the complete model number? There should be letters and numbers following the R52WM24. The front protective screen does not appear to be a separately available part. The screen assembly runs about $170. Post the exact model and I'll get you the order number and costs.
A magnavox remote should program like the phillips universal. I will post the link. If this doesnt help post the model number of the magnavox remote that you are trying to program. the model number is usually in the battery compartment. http://www.universal-remote.net/philipsmagnavox.html
I have found that fusible link FL231 is the main cause of this problem. It's located by the high voltage transformer and looks like a square coil.
Check it with an ohm meter and if it checks bad, then, replace it and you should not have to realign the convergence.
Any questions or comments, respond to this post and I will reply.
