To view the Manual and other information just use your mouse to click on the links, which are the underlined and blue highlighted section of text just above.

See page 28 (Section 3-8) of the service manual for detailed instructions and illustrations about how to access and replace the fuse on that unit. Please make sure that the unit is unplugged before attempting any repair procedures. These appliances can be very dangerous to work on even after they are unplugged due to the high voltage components inside like the large capacitor. Please do not attempt any disassembly or repairs unless you are very familiar with the electrical saftey precautions necessary.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents, although many computers already have this utility pre-installed.

You can always download this for free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.

Please COMMENT back here to this page if you have any details to add, have any questions, have difficulty accessing the links, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

BEFORE leaving a rating OTHER THAN 5 STARS or a negative TESTIMONIAL, please contact me using the ADD A COMMENT feature and I will immediately clear up any concerns or answer any additional questions that you might have until you are completely satisfied with the service provided. The FixYa rating system is a very important component of the Marketplace, and unfortunately once you post a rating or a testimonial to a solution, it cannot be changed at all later on.

MISSING OWNERS MANUAL FOR MODEL gh4155xpq-0 Microwave

Do you mean the Whirlpool Microwave Hood Combination GH4155XPQ0? Most Whirlpool appliance manuals are available here: https://www.whirlpool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/OCManualsLiteratureSearchView?catalogId=10561&langId=-1&storeId=10211&krypto=5QgxQhneFliXuEuX564wSQ%3D%3D&ddkey=http:OCManualsLiteratureSearchView . The direct link to the manual for the GH4155XPQ0 is https://www.whirlpool.com/digitalassets/MLPDF/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%208204919.pdf .

Sharp doesn't have a microwave with this model number. If you gave the incorrect model number but the correct manufacturer, please add a comment with the correct model number.

I hope this helps.

I am trying to locate the fuses in my whirlpool mh7130xeq-1 ... I know where the mainline fuse is and have replaced it, but it seems like the until gets awfully hot when running the microwave, and I...

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.

I am having a hard time grasping the problem here. I have to assume that the microwave fan is the problem and not the blower fan. No worries.. ALL of your questions can be answered by this manual if you understand Technician procedures:
https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/0/52015b2c875fae4d85256a8c0062547e/$FILE/4322167.pdf

The cooling fan should be running any time the turntable is moving.

Fan motor is item 1 this link:
http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=260365&diagram_id=28278660#d28278660

This is the fan motor: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/part_details.aspx?part_id=3034166
It can be lubricated with a parafin based oil (Zoom Spout turbine oil) of Union 76 turbine oil. It is best to remove the mounting screws for the motor bearings and then clean the motor shaft & bearing before lubrication. Do this on both sides of the motor. Most of them can be revived with proper cleaning and lubrication.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

How do I use the self-cleaning function on my Whirlpool Super Capacity 465 self-cleaning oven?

If you just want to run the basic self-clean cycle. First remove the broiler pan and racks from the oven. Next clean any heavy spills up with a non-abrasive cleaner (do not use an oven cleaner). Clean the window of the oven door and the door frame (to the outside of the gasket). Then close the oven. If the oven has a touch-pad, press the Auto-clean pad on the oven followed by Start. The oven will automatically lock and then unlock when the oven has cooled after the cleaning cycle. (I'm less certain of the control settings for the dial type of oven control.)

In order to get your manual you need the full model number of the oven. This is on a plate located behind the storage door. This pdf, http://adcxns1.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/ca8e028c60d9804f85256a8c00621f04/$FILE/4322089.pdf , gives you a picture of where the model and serial numbers are is on page 4 as well as some of the information contained in the serial number on the subsequent pages.

Once you have your model number, go to http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/product_literature/search.jsp?siteCd=WHRCOM and enter the model number. This should let you get the manual specific to your oven.

I hope this helps.

While changing light bulb, the bulb broke and sparked . This caused the breaker to trip. Since this acurred the Microwave has not worked. no power. I resset the breaker and tested the outlet it has power....

There is a fuse located inside the unit, that has probably blown. This is usually replaced by an appliance repairman - but if you are handy and can remember to kill the power BEFORE attempting replacement, you can save a few bucks.

Whirlpool has made a repair guide or "job aid" for their field service personnel, and it is quite detailed, and includes helpful pictures. Rather than paraphrase it - you can follow the link below and download it yourself. Page 4-6 details fuse access. The link:

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/eb51f29dbe5773c18525726e00793aa7/$FILE/Whpl%20BaseLineMHC.pdf

Copy and paste the text above in your browser's address box to download the job aid. it is _very_ important that you replace the fuse with the exact replacement. Deviating from the type, style, etc. can lead to fire or nuisance fuse failure.

Please rate this reply if it was helpful to you. Good luck!

Where is the thermistor

Many Microwaves do NOT use a thermistor, as such, they do however have thermostat type electronics, what you need to do is get a service manual, this will have a schematic diagram.
https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/280381a25d6e9bd885256e380058a213?OpenDocument
Above find a service manual for a generic service manual.

KEMS378GSS3 Door has lost tension

Hi,

Please find the diagramatic presentation for the replacement or removal of the door.

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/d12cd4888abce86285256a42005ea985/0330c966a25780ac8525740c006f9000/$FILE/4317430.pdf

Do not be worried about the model if its exactly not the same as the basic removal process is 99% similar.

Thank You
