Dear geezy_goez,

You seem to have lost the shortcut to your browser. Assuming you have Windows, you can start IE by going to Start, Run and typing "iexplore" in the box. That should start Internet Explorer.

Regards.

Satellite p35 will not go to wireless

Might not have a wireless card installed ??

If your Toshiba Satellite notebook computer is equipped with a wireless Internet card, you can connect to a Wi-Fi access point by turning on the wireless switch on the side of the laptop.
However, the signal may not always be picked up by your wireless receiver; if that is the case, you will need to check your wireless-network settings and reconfigure the network connections manually.

Open the Network Settings program. Click on the Control Panel in your "Programs" bar and select "Network Settings."
This will give you options for modifying how you connect to the Internet.
Select "Connect to a Network" or "Show Network Status and Tasks."
Both selections will show you whether you are disconnected from the wireless network.

Select "Manage Network Connections."
This selection is located on the left side of the window; clicking on it will show you whether you are connected to a local area connection or wireless network connection.

Engage the wireless connection.
Turn your wireless switch to "On," then right-click on the wireless network connection.
Select "Connect/Disconnect."

Wait for the IP address acquisition.
It may take a few minutes for your Toshiba Satellite to pick up the signal and transmit your IP address.
When this is complete, you will see the word "Connected" next to the name of your wireless connection, and a series of bars that indicate signal strength.
Launch your favorite browser to access the Internet using the wireless connection.

Wireless connection problems with toshiba satellite a105-s4334

You will have to run the home or office wizard on your existing connection to start using internet. You can activate the wizard through the network connection icon in control panel. There inside the network connection window on left side, u can see the link to it. Follow the steps. Ignore disconnected hardware if any. Do rate my reply... Thanx n regards

The clock on my Toshiba Satellite M105-S3064 has never been correct and it is creating a lot of problems with my Outlook and synchronization of my phone.

Go to BIOS and set the time correctly.
If it starts losing time again, you may need a new CMOS battery.

My laptop is a toshiba satellite P25-S526. I cant seem to get the power supply to charge the battery. I have replaced both the battery and power supply and those were not the problem. why wont my...

If you have a volt meter measure the power coming out of the power supply and make sure the outlet is good that you are plugging it into.

Try resoldering the connection on the circuit board where the power supply plugs into it. There may be a loose connection or a crack in the board that you could jumper around using a short piece of wire soldered around the break.

We are tring to connect to a wireless internet connection and we cant. it says we need to turn on the wireless networking radio? how do we do that? we have a toshiba satellite laptop. thanks

There should be a wireless button or switch on the perimeter of the laptop. Either this or a function key on your keyboard that you need to depress while clicking another key that has a wireless picture icon on it.

If you hit the right switch you should get some kind of notification either on the display or with the enabling of a new wireless light on the laptop.

When I turn on the Toshiba Satellite A215-S7447 laptop, the monitor part of it doesn't turn on with the rest of the system.

Plug in an external monitor. use the <FN><F5> keys to toggle between the internal lcd and the external monitor. If the display external works and the lcd doesn't, most likely a bad inverter board.

My toshiba m105 it wasn't the inverter, it was the lcd itself, the TAB welds were no good but the lcd still worked it just had a 3" vertical blacked out area on the lcd.

Have you activated SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, and TLS 1.0 in Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Security? If they are not activated, there is the real possibility you won't connect. Happened to me just tonight and discovered them all unchecked. Reactivated all 3 and voila.... it worked!

I'm trying to connect my toshiba satellite m115 to my insignia 19" lcd hdtv but its saying on the tv " mode not support " how do i fix that so i can watch my laptop on my tv?

Your toshiba m115, like my m105, is probably set at settings 1280X800. Once the LCD is hooked up to your laptop
  1. Right mouse click on empty spot on desktop
  2. left click on properties
  3. left click on settings tab
  4. left click on advanced
  5. left click on INTEL MEDIA GRAPHICS tab at top
  6. left click on graphics properties
  7. display settings
  8. change to 1024X768 or 800X600 (whatever lcd tv supports)
  9. click apply
  10. click on display devices
  11. make selection
  12. apply
