GOM and VLC Player NO SOUND PROBLEM

For VLC no sound issue, you may need to check one basic thing that is whether you have already set your Windows Volume Mixer to mute at some point.

Then If there is still no sound from VLC Media Player, you have to adjust VLC Audio settings. The adjustment process is quite simple. You just need to go to "Tools" to select "Preference" option, and then choose "Audio" to make sure you have already taken a tick of "Enable Time-Stretching audio". Finally click "Save" button and usually the problem of no sound from VLC Media Player can be fixed.

If these methods still don't solve the issue, you could try another player such as Leawo Blu-ray Player.

How can i install core AAC direct show filter to hear sounds in mp4 clips

If you are using Windows OS, download & install the latest version codec "K-Lite Codec Pack or K-Lite Mega Codec Pack" from http://www.free-codecs.com/

If the GOM player does not play the MP4 Files, then you can also install these free media players ie. VLC Player or MPCStar player.

Hope it helps.

Try to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player Active X and Plug in and then reinstall it as there could be traces of previous versions in the computer which are interfering and making it difficult for the browsers to properly display videos on your computer. You can do this from the computer user settings and manipulating the "Add/Remove" programs list.

-- Update the drivers, the link is given below which would ask you to download the file through internet and run it on your computer.

Every time i open the GOM player it would ask for "FIND codec"

GOM Player includes many codecs (XviD, DivX, FLV1, AC3, OGG, MP4, H263) Along with different media format such as AVI, MPG, MPEG and DAT, GOM Player also supports streaming Windows media format (WMV, ASF, ASX).

Possible Reason:

* Ensure that you have downloaded a genuine version and not a broken file, which is likely to miss some codecs, GOM is a FREE media player with popular audio & video codecs built-in. So you won't need to install separate codecs for most videos. For those videos that require a separate codec, GOM Player will find one.

* Without the appropriate codec, you'll be prohibited from playing AV files/the codec for which the file you are playing is missing (playback error), which prompts you to "Find Codec" screen. In the case you need other codecs, the 'Find Codec' popup will assist you in searching for the correct codec to play your file. If you didn't find any: first reason is likely to be the issue.

Fixes:

*Search Result will be shown on a new internet page. Once youve found it, simply download and install to watch the AV files.

Cannot play video from you tube

Hi, Supported formats include DAT, MPEG, DivX, XviD, WMV, ASF, AVI, and MOV, as are common codecs like FLV1, AC3, OGG, MP4, and H263. A pop-out playlist can save and organize your various media files, though the limited sort modes--two--hardly makes it a champ.
so u just uninstall you Gom player then reinstall http://download.cnet.com/GOM-Media-Player/3000-13632_4-10551786.html
