Do not use Alkaline AA. Their voltage drop a lot under load.
Try the best: Hybrid type like Sanyo Eneloop. Also get a decent charger, the cheapee "Fast Charge" charger just shorten battery life pretty fast.
Hope this help

2002 Chevy prism new starter still will not crank it has a new battery

Why did you replace starter. You can test old starter on bench. If you keep replacing parts because someone says that was like my car youll cost yourself a lot of money. There is a process to go through to diagnose faults with any system in the car that comes with experience and right test equipment and good technicians learn this early on in there careers.Ive seen this so many times in my career.Keep things simple dont go off on a tangent.Think about what lead up to the problem and if you know how this system operates you usually have an answer before you even set a test piece up.

I have a Canon Power Shot A470. I have replaced the batteries many times, always with brand new ones, and it still keeps telling me to change the batteries. What is the problem with it? How do I fix it?

Yes, but what batteries have you been changing? If the AA's, those aren't the clock battery. Open the battery door, and notice the tiny door inside labeled "CR1220". Pry that door open with your fingernail, and take the enclosed CR1220 battery down to your local drugstore to purchase a replacement clock battery. Drugstores seem to be cheaper for this battery (~$3) than retail outlets like W-Mart (~$7).

What battery to put in the camera

You have a couple options. First you can buy lithium batteries, which are a little pricey, but they last a great deal longer in high tech devices such as digital cameras.

Second, you can buy rechargable batteries, which also last alot longer in cameras, and are worth the price because they can be reused!

Good luck!
