Well the battery could be refusing to take much of a charge, the alternator might not be putting out enough to keep the car running and charge the battery. or there could be something draining the battery, even with the ignition in off position. you can take the battery and alternator into advance or autozone for a test, but the drain problem is going to take some trouble shooting. things which are on even when off can be the remote door locks, remote starter, lights in the glove box and trunk. if you have aftermarket stuff like custom radios, GPS, etc. are usually put in by someone who does not know what they are doing so i would start there.

Turns over but wont fire 99 Saturn SL

If your 1999 Saturn SL turns over but won't start, there could be a few different reasons why. Here are some possible causes:

Faulty fuel pump: The fuel pump is responsible for delivering fuel from the tank to the engine. If it's not working properly, the engine won't receive enough fuel to start. You can check if the fuel pump is working by turning the key to the "on" position and listening for a humming sound coming from the fuel tank. If you don't hear anything, the fuel pump may be faulty.

Dead battery: If the battery is dead, the engine won't have enough power to start. You can try jump-starting the car to see if that helps.

Ignition system problems: If the ignition system isn't working properly, the engine won't start. This could be caused by a faulty ignition coil, distributor, or spark plugs.

Clogged fuel filter: If the fuel filter is clogged, fuel won't be able to flow properly to the engine. This can cause the engine to stall or not start at all.

Bad crankshaft position sensor: The crankshaft position sensor tells the engine control module (ECM) when to fire the spark plugs. If it's not working properly, the engine won't start.

These are just a few possible causes of a Saturn SL that turns over but won't start. It's best to have a qualified mechanic diagnose the problem to ensure that it's fixed correctly.

1992 saturn sl engine won't turn over

Best case scenario: Your battery is dead or almost dead.Worst case: The engine has seized and you have to replace it. Do the dash and interior lights stay on or turn out when you try to start the car?

I think you have a bad starter my 99 SL 2 was doing the same thing. What i did to be sure was one time when the car would not start I put the car on jack stands got under it had someone sit in the car turn the key like you are trying to start the car then you hit the starter with something to jar it if the car starts you know that it was the starter.worked for me.
Good luck.

1999 Saturn -We replaced the bushing but the car still will not start. The clutch pedal is down to the floor but nothing ! (It reminds me of when I didn't have the clutch pushed down all the way and tried...

Do not know what bushing you are talking about. If your clutch pedal is on the floor you have a failure in the clutch system, leaking master or slave cylinder or broken line; or a failure within the clutch.

Air conditioner unit started squealing and then all the guages quit working and the car eventually died. everytime I charge the battery the car will run as long as I dont use radio, lights, wipers, or...

broken belt comes to mind? If the a/c squealed that ment it locked up. If it locked up? the belat cant turn it, Creating a burn out effect, Hence breaking the belt. Replace the A/c Pump and belt. You will be fine, Unless you overheat the engine from no belt turning the waterpump???

Same exact problem

Okay it could be one of 2 things. A) you are leaving something on in the car such as lights or leaving a door open a little. B) you have a bad alternator. To check it once you have a complete charged battery, start the car. Let it run fora few mins. while the car is running disconnect the battery. (this is completely safe) If the car turns off you have a bad alternator. Please let me know the outcome.
