Actually, the tv is still working great.

Ours did...did yours? Our insurance company is trying to hold us liable to our deductable since I had a Candle on our mantel. The Candle was no where near the TV. When I found the TV on fire it was coming from the back of the TV.

I turn on power button. Short time later 20 amp breaker trips. I can reset breaker and do a load of wash. Must repeat for each load. I replaced receptacle and 20 amp breaker. Same results

Please do not do another load of wash until this problem is fixed, or you may find yourself with a house/apartment fire!
I am thinking your motor (most likely) or the controls (least) have a short, and are causing your problem.
Oh, yes.
Take a really good look at the circuit breaker box inside, because a broken or loose ground wire ( there are two) can also cause this problem.
One ground wire should be white, one should be bare.
Each should be securely screwed into the lugs of the grounded section of the circuit breaker box.
God bless your efforts.

Last nigh my Maytag dishwasher model # MDB7100Aww serial # 15666931YM caught fire. Luckily I heard it and was able to put the fire out before my house caught fire. Has there been a recall on this model...

Hi,

Yes, there was a product recall for your Dishwasher due to fire hazard. Please visit the following pages for further information:

https://repair.maytag.com/repair/dishwasher.jsp?siteCd=MT_EN_US

https://repair.maytag.com/repair/dish_faq.jsp?siteCd=MT_EN_US

The list includes model numbers beginning MDB7 with serial numbers ending in YM, so yours is one of the units affected.

With regard to repair / replacement / compensation, Maytag state the following:

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using these dishwashers, disconnect the electric supply by shutting off the fuse or circuit breaker controlling it and inform all users of the dishwasher about the risk of fire. Contact Maytag for either a free in-home repair, or a $75 cash back reimbursement following the purchase of a new Maytag®, Jenn-Air®, Whirlpool® or KitchenAid® dishwasher. Consumers should not return the dishwasher to the retailer where it was purchased, as retailers are not prepared to take units back.
Consumer Contact: For more information, contact Maytag Corporation at (800) 675-0535 anytime, or visit the firm's Web site at www.repair.maytag.com.

Hope this helps - I would advise phoning them on the number above to find out what your exact position is as this recall was issued in 2007. However, there should not be any time limitations on claims and this still appears to be an active recall. They have admitted the dishwashers are dangerous and thereby accepted liability.

Regards,
BElectric

My tv caught on fire what am i needing to do & i need a customer service phone number!!!!!!!!!!!!

If the tv has literally caught on fire then there's nothing more that can be done to save it - just junk it before it burns your house down. If it's still in the warranty period take it back immediately and make a refund request.

Grill fire

Check to see if the flexible tubes from the burner assembly to the gas valves are clear, undamaged, and completely seated on the burner valve orifices. If these tubes are only partially seated at the valves, gas can leak and ignite under the control panel. If this happens, the control valves can be damaged creating a serious fire hazard. If in doubt, replace the control valves.

Hello, nothing to my knowledge is factory. After market music AMP or security system? Any markings remaining on box? Perhaps followings wire down to where it goes could be of help. Does the car still run okay?

Refrigerator caught on fire.

tough call but. the entire start relay kit and cap can be replaced. it is usually surrounded by metal and if it does fail is not a major source of concern as far as a fire. stink yes, but nothing around it to flame up and cause a major fire. performance can be checked immediately after parts are replaced, and if it starts ok then you are as safe as you would be with a brand new unit if it had the same problem!good luck

start relays smoking is a common fault and does not usually indicate a fault elsewhere. parts are reasonable cost so give it a try
