How to Reset Windows Server 2008 Password Easily?

According to Microsoft, Windows Server 2008 is an award-winning system that allows IT professionals more reliability and flexibility with their server infrastructures. The newer Windows Server 2008 R2 utilizes much of the same coding as Microsoft Vista and features advanced virtualization tools, Web resources and management enhancements. Additionally, the system's Windows 7 integration helps to save both time and money, and provides a platform for a dynamic and efficiently managed data center. Tools such as Internet Information Services version 7.5, Server Manager and Hyper-V platforms, and Windows PowerShell version 2.0 give customers greater control. Often, though, it's simple tasks like resetting a user password that keep IT administrators busy on a day-to-day basis.<br /> As long as you have administrator-level access to your Windows Server 2008 machine, <a href="http://www.passwordunlocker.com/knowledge/reset-domain-password.html">resetting Windows Server 2008 password</a> becomes a quick task once you know where to look.<img src="trans.gif" /> Step 1: Log into the Windows Server 2008 administrator account using the current password.<br /> Step 2: Click the Windows "Start" button, select "Control Panel," and then click "User Accounts."<br /> Step 3: Click "Add or remove user accounts," and then click "Continue" when prompted to confirm your choice.<br /> Step 4: Select the administrator account and click "Change the password."<br /> Step 5: Type the current password in the "Current password" field, type the replacement password in the "New password" field, and then confirm your choice by typing it again in the adjacent "Confirm new password" field.<br /> Step 6: Click "Change password<br /> Well, if you have not the admin level to access or you forgot Windows Server 2008 password, what would you do? How do I set up outlook on my Toshiba Satellite.

Gather the necessary settings from your email service provider. Things you need to know include: the type of mail server used (POP3, IMAP, Exchange), the incoming server, the outgoing server, username and password and whether secure authentication is needed.

I just want to download outlook express and use that for e-mail. Which program should I use?

Outlook Express is a part of every windows operating system except Windows Vista (Uses Windows Mail) and Windows 7 (no Email client part of the operating system you can download Windows Live Mail)
If you are using XP or an older version of windows and outlook express is not installed, you can install it from add/remove programs, Windows Options.
If you have vista, then install Windows Mail from Programs and Features
If you have 7 the download Mail from windows live essentials :

I can't get to configure my e-mail account"ojopojj@yahoo.com so that i can access it through Microsoft outlook

    Per office.microsoft.com:
Add your Yahoo! Mail e-mail account
    1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
    2. Click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
    3. Click POP3, and then click Next.
    4. Under User Information, do the following:
      1. In the Your Name box, type your full name the way that you want it to appear to other people.
      2. In the E-mail Address box, type your Member ID (or username), followed by the @ symbol and domain name.
    5. Under Server Information, do the following:
      1. In the Incoming mail server (POP3) box, type the server name from the chart below that corresponds to your e-mail address.
      2. In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type the server name from the chart below that corresponds to your e-mail address.
    6. Under Logon Information, do the following:
      1. In the User Name box, type your Yahoo Member ID (or username). Do not include the @ symbol or domain name.
      2. In the Password box, type your password.
      3. Select the Remember password check box.

Note   You have the option to have Outlook remember your password by typing it in the Password box and selecting the Remember password check box. Having Outlook remember your password means that you won't have to type your password each time you access the account; however, it also means that the account is vulnerable to anyone who has access to your computer. Use strong passwords that combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Weak passwords don't mix these elements. Strong password: Y6dh!et5. Weak password: House27. Passwords should be 8 or more characters in length. A pass phrase that uses 14 or more characters is better. For more information, see Help protect your personal information with strong passwords. It is critical that you remember your password. If you forget your password, Microsoft cannot retrieve it. Store the passwords that you write down in a secure place away from the information that they help protect.

    1. To verify that your account is working, click Test Account Settings. If there is missing or incorrect information, such as your password, you will be prompted to supply or correct it. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
    2. Click More Settings.
    3. On the General tab, under Mail Account, type Yahoo! Mail.
    4. Click the Outgoing Server tab, and then select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication check box.
    5. Click Use same settings as my incoming mail server, and then click OK.
    6. Click Next, and then click Finish.

     Notes

    • Do not select the Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) check box.
    • Unless specified by Yahoo! Mail, all server and address entries are typed in lowercase letters.

    Sending email

here are the settings for btinternet, if you use "outlook" you must manually configure them!

    • The POP3 server (incoming mail) is mail.btinternet.com
    • The SMTP server (outgoing mail) is also mail.btinternet.com
    • Both need your BT Yahoo! email address and password; you will have to tell your e-mail program that the SMTP server requires authentication.
    • The SMTP server can use either port 25 or port 587.
The most common fault is to provide your ADSL username and password when your BT Yahoo! username and password is what's required.

    good luck and regards

    Hi,

Check the outgoing server authentication box in Tools / Options / Accounts / Advance Settings.

Your ISP / Email provider may require your outgoing mail / smtp to authenticate with a username and password prior to allowing the transfer of the mail.

What version of Outlook are you using?
