Question about Whirlpool ET0WSRXML Top Freezer Refrigerator
Hi. Recently my Whirlpool fridge (Model #ET4WXKXKQ03) was moved out so that we could spray for a bug problem we are having. That night I started noticing a bad smell, mostly in the freezer. The bug spray that was used didn't really even have a scent, so I don't think that could be it. I had a repair man in the next day and he replace the fan (saying it was getting ready to go, but hadn't yet). I then throughly cleaned out the freezer and fridge with baking soda and soap. The smell persists, though. I have them scheduled to come back tomorrow, but what could be the cause of the smell? When talking with these repair men it is like they want you to know what the problem is so they don't have to look. Unfortunately I live in a townhouse and can not choose who my management company sends over. Any ideas about what could be causing the smell?
Could be dead bugs in the drain line and other sludge built up in there...have your guy flush the drain!!
