Red power light, green wireless light, no internet access. Have done the reset and the power off. Nothing works.

I had the same problem on the Gateway 2701HG-B supplied from ATT. From searching the web, I learned these variety of modems apparently have an expiration date on the power cord at abotu 18 mos to 2 years. Mine is almost exactly at 2 yrs.

I replaced the power cord and now it works fine. You can order the OEM replacement from att e-store or try Radio Shack for a universal cord.

Power light is red but wireless light is green

Hey bro... the problem ur facing is with the power cord... Try changing the power cord and test ... It should work.... If it doesnt you need to change the whole unit itself. ... But anything before that you can always contact ur ISP for further info. They might replace it for you free if there is a need to.. T&C apply. Check with your local ISP... Thanks. Any more issues or any problems furthermore pertaining to this modem - You can always post it and we can fix it :)

Lost pc fax capability

The way you should set it up is use a splitter at the wall. One phone cord will go to the modem, a separate phone cord with a dsl filter on it will go to the modem on your pc. This will give your pc the capability to fax provided you have the software.
