Question about SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player

Volume my volume is all the way up and wont go down what can i do. I dont want to buy another one

I guess the volume - button is not working?

These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/driverList.asp
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.

It sounds as if the UP VOLUME button/switch is broken and ON all the time. See if it is stuck down

I have a m4500 creative speaker the problem is the volume switch when i turn it on the green light is on and when i increasing the volume the become dimmer until its off and no sound,what is cause?


It sounds like the output IC (the amplifer) has a problem.This needs to be replaced.

Sounds like there's wires touching and it's grounding to its self or there's a bare wire rubbing on body. Check all speaker wires in trunk or back to which are the ones easiest to vet messed up

Why won't my CD Player won't play CD's?


the laser that reads the cd is probably dirty - if you have a can of compressed air - insert the nozzle into the cd player and blast away any dust and debris - if this doesn't help - there are cd cleaning discs available at any major retailer - just insert the cd and it cleans the laser - worst case scenario - buy a new cd player - the prices have really come down - I replaced mine with the trim kit and wire harness for $100 - only took about 1 hour - but you do need to buy the Ford stereo removal tools (available also at any good stereo store)

I have a Rowe R80 jukebox and after moving it it has no sound through the speakers I am in New Zealand


Well, in addition to all the fine suggestions that are here, I would like to add the simple and easy things that may have happened during the move.

IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING A LOUD POP WHEN THE MACHINE IS POWERED ON.......

1) Make sure that the wires on the terminals below are still connected to the screws. There is one ground and one each for left and right. The lower the tap the lower the (max) volume of the jukebox.If they are not connected there will be no sound.

There is a jumpers on the terminal strip where the volume control connects. Make sure that these connections are correct and tight. Also make sure that the jumpers did not fall off.

If you are getting the loud pop in the speakers when the power is turned on .....

Check the plug on the side of the mechanism, just below the back of the tone are.(looks like a little tube socket) Check to see that it is connected to the mech and the CORRECT PLACE on the amplifier. It mat be possible to have this end in the wrong place. bf77613e-82a3-4e37-b8fe-cc80f4d4dbcb.jpg

It wont turn on, it shows 'push power protect' when you turn it on, or disconnect it and reconnect, i already attempted to disconnect the Sony Stereo MCH-EC909iP Mini Hi-Fi and it shows 'Push Power, P


The only thing I can think of is its goin into protection mode like an amplifier would, you maxed the volume out and it's protecting your speakers or you don't have the right voltage going to it, I can see you don't have it on a straight 120v plug and you might have the wiring wrong on the speakers to it might be too low of a ohm or too high
